Exceptional service; timely response; knowledgeable technicians.

My roommate had water backing up in the house just three days before Thanksgiving. It turns out he had a MASSIVE amount of tree roots growing in the main sewer line. Dwwayne showed up on site in the evening to my emergency call and worked late at night, returning the next day to identify the problem. The first thing next morning the Spartan team worked quickly to identify the problem and give my roommate his solution options. Tim Shepherd, the plumbing supervisor at Spartan, went above and beyond to take care of us and get it up and running before the holiday. He called the city, and worked with them diligently to clear all the roots that were both off the property and on the property. He even found a better solution than originally planned for and literally cut my roommate's expenses in half, giving him the lowest and fairest price. I couldn’t thank the company more for their respect for us, fast response, and the care they poured into their work to make sure our Thanksgiving wasn’t ruined. I confidently state that this company deserves a full 5 stars and would recommend their business to anyone.

Spartan is the best. I called for service during the pre-Christmas rainstorm and they sent two plumbers over within the hour. The gave very courteous service and fixed my sump pump problem in a jiffy. They put shoe covers in before entering the house, and stayed masked. Thank you Spartan, our neighborhood standby for decades.

I’ll start off by saying I whole heartedly could not recommend a better plumbing company than Spartan Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning. I had water backing up in my house just three days before Thanksgiving. It turns out I had a MASSIVE amount of tree roots growing in my main sewer line. Dwwayne showed up on site in the evening to my emergency call and worked late at night, returning the next day to identify the problem. He took the care to shave off an hour of service because they didn’t identify the problem in the middle of the night because it was too dark to operate safely. The first thing next morning the Spartan team worked quickly to identify the problem and give me my solution options. Tim Shepherd, the plumbing supervisor at Spartan, went above and beyond to take care of me and get me up and running before the holiday. He called the city for me, and worked with them diligently to clear all the roots that were both off my property and on my property. He even found a better solution than originally planned for and literally cut my expenses in half, giving me the lowest and fairest price. He gave me a full report in writing explaining my situation, and advised me of my best courses of action/life lessons moving forward with his decades of experience and wisdom. I couldn’t thank the company more for their respect for me, fast response, and the care they poured into their work to make sure my Thanksgiving wasn’t ruined. I confidently state that this company deserves a full 5 stars and would recommend their business to anyone.

Spartan replaced my entire drain stack last week. The crew (Jorge and Eric with guest appearances by DJ and Felix) were amazing! Professional, knowledgeable, quick and communicative. Would absolutely recommend!

24/7 NOT!!!. We had a family emergency Saturday afternoon. Called for help, left messages, and emailed several times as told to by their recorded phone service. It wasn't till Monday that one call came in. TO LATE. I waited till Sunday noon before I tried another company. They took my call and responded immediately to my parents home, they arrived about 35 minutes later. Awesome, a competitor resolved the main sewer line problem. Parents are in their 80"s with Dad under special care. Very disappointed because I really tried to wait. They clearly are false advertising about the 24/7 help.

This company has been a nightmare to deal with. After being charged 3 service call fees to assess the same problem with no work being done, two technicians finally came out to repair a burst water pipe. The first 2 techs who came out on service calls came up with drastically different interpretations as to what happened to our pipes. The pipes had frozen, then thawed and burst, flooding our downstairs with water damage.

On the day the company finally sent people out to work, the technicians arrived and worked for about 45 minutes before sending my husband out to Home Depot to buy all of the materials they would need to complete the job, since they didn't bring anything with them except for basic tools. While he went to purchase the supplies, they sat outside in their van for over an hour and a half and then drove away without saying anything to me. They finally came back, and did a half-effort job of repairing the leak, replacing drywall and insulation, and sealing up the side of the house. They only took off 30 minutes from our invoice despite being off the clock and doing no work for a total of 2 hours. The techs told us that they would come back in a few days to check our water meter, finish the job, and ensure no other pipes were leaking. They never came back. That was 3 weeks ago.

We gave the company all of the information needed for our insurance company, but they never contacted our insurance company. The technicians gave us an incorrect email address and incorrect point of contact, despite asking repeatedly if the spelling was correct for the email address and name. Save your time and money, and avoid this company if you can.

Outstanding emergency service on Thanksgiving Day. Called me back promptly, sent a technician before noon, and I had my heat back on same day. Edgar provided terrific service. Very reasonable charges and I even received a follow up call the next day. I called several businesses as I lost heat on the holiday and had family coming, including ARS and Blue Dot, but they never even called me back. We booked Spartan to return for routine maintenance as they earned our long term business.

I called Spartan as the usual go to plumber in my area. This was for a mostly clogged bathroom sink drain. They came the same day and in the time window initially described, so that was good. The work took about 30 minutes and was quite a bit more expensive than I expected.

The work was started and completed without a specific quote and I was just handed the cost at the end of the service for $364. I googled the average cost in my area which is around $220. The high end cost for a single drain, per google, is typically around $300.

Fast service but expensive, plan accordingly.

Techs showed up to my house when my AC froze up and indicated that I have major leaks in my coil and should replace it, or preferably replace my whole 5 year old outdoor Carrier unit for $4.5k+. They charged me $250 just for the 10 min visit and quoted me $150/pd to replace freon they claim was missing. I have two other contractors come out the next day, one an old friend, and they both demonstrated that there were no concerning leaks in the coil and charged me $10/pd for a freon refill.

Taking advantage of clients when its 95 degrees outside is unethical and I would highly recommend avoiding this business.

I made the mistake of yanking on a wire to my exterior AC unit today while trying to clear away the vines around it (the wire looked *just* like one of the vines, dammit). No big deal, except 1) today is Sunday, 2) the temps are already in the mid-90s today, and 3) a heat wave is on its way during the next few days.

We called Spartan since they have a 24-hour emergency answering service. I explained the situation and hoped out loud that we could get someone out to look at it as early as tomorrow. The tech called back before I could get all the way through my worst case scenario spiral of thinking to let me know he was close by and could fix it today.

He arrived 10 minutes later, and within 20 minutes had the unit fixed and running again. That was one huge relief; the other was that it cost me less than $100. No emergency or same-day fee, just the cost of parts and labor. Amazing.

I was very impressed with the prompt response and quick turnaround time, and I'm happy to support a woman-owned and managed business.
