My wife and i used Doc Rusk to service our heating system back in December, our system uses fuel, so as they serviced it they were replacing the filter on the tank, well the service tech put nothing down on the ground to catch any drips or spills, Well he dumped a gallon and a half of fuel all over our basement and walked through our carpeted area to call for my wife for help, she gave the tech old towels so he could clean his mess up and what a mess it was, the man packed up a left our house after we paid our bill, then Doc rusk sent out a service company to clean up the mess, our house smelled like a construction site (Diesel fuel) they took up my floor and cleaned a little bit and left the house, after a couple day we reached out to Doc Rusk and talked with the owner Steve he said his company had gone far and beyond what their company needed to do and that it was our fault for having a shut off valve that did not work, so they were blaming us because of their incompetence to service our system. Ok long bad story short we made them make a insurance claim to replace our floor they took up and to remove the rest of the fuel from our basement they did pay up but the bad or good thing about this story is we are replacing our complete system and having the system switched over to propane and the fuel tank removed from the basement. if their service guy would have just put down something to catch over flo or a spill this would not have happened. and because of this we will never recommend Doc Rusk heating and air

When we bought our house we were having a lot of issues with our furnace constantly running and costing us a lot of $$$$. Rusk came out and evaluated the situation, finding that our duct work was undersized and not supplying enough return air causing the system to short cycle. They drew up a plan for redoing the duct work only in the basement (all exposed) so as not to have to open any walls and cause the least amount of disturbance to use. They showed up at 8am and by early afternoon we had a furnace that was happy and running efficiently. They were professional, courteous and great at explaining everything. They even found another issue while doing the duct work and fixed that at no extra charge. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks @Rusk Heating & Cooling!

I have been a customer of Rusk Heating and Cooling over 30 years. They have installed three HVAC systems for my family and a custom geothermal system. When the heat pump in our new condo failed in January, they were there before we got cold! I recommend not only doing business with Rusk, but developing a relationship with their people. They are gems.

Rusk came out to service our heat for the winter and do some repairs to our dryer vent connections. They were able to work around our holiday schedules, be at our house on time for the appointment, perform the work/service quickly, and do an outstanding job. I'll continue to call on Rusk every time!

We had an excellent experience with Rusk Heating and Cooling from the person who answer the phone, to Steve, the owner who estimated the replacement cost of the boiler, to the men that installed the equipment and the associate that took the payment. Our HVAC went out over the summer and Rusk had previously performed service repairs at our property with a previous owner. They were able to respond in a timely fashion, with a very personable technician to make the repairs. The tech had arrived prior to me arriving back home and had begun troubleshooting without anyone present at the home. The fuses were replaced for the HVAC ($89 for material) and a capacitor was replaced prior to my arrival which was then invoiced for $213!! I attempted to reach out to Rusk for follow up, but nobody returned my message.
