My parents starting using Rusk Heating and Cooling when I was a 10 year old living in New Richmond Ohio...so when I got a job and bought my own house later in Pierce Township, of course I used Rusk. They have serviced heating and cooling equipment at my parents' place for over 50 years, and at my home for 28 years. Thorough, responsive, happy to explain what they are doing- quite simply the best.
We couldn't have asked for a better response time and resolution to our furnace issue. First time using furnace for the year and it did not start. Technician arrived the next morning and was able to quickly diagnose and resolve issue. Thankfully it just needed a good cleaning. He did NOT try to up-sale me anything and was very straight and honest with me. GREAT experience all around.
My A/C went out and I called for service on Tuesday and had a service call Wednesday and new A/C and furnace by Friday. The guys were all friendly and professional and very responsive, unlike the first company that I called that told me that I would have to wait for days for anyone to be able to come out. My units were quite old and I knew that one day they would need to be replaced and the new equipment is much quieter and definitely more efficient. Rusk did a great job and I would recommend them.
We had Rusk Heating and Cooling install a new furnace and a/c unit in our home maybe 8 years ago. The did a top notch job and we've had a maintenance agreement and regular service on it from them ever since. We had two incidences where there were problems. One was with the a/c compressor the first year; they came out and took care of it under warranty and it has worked well ever since.
The second was caused by a capacitor in the blower motor which was a problem maybe two years ago. The technician came out, diagnosed the problem and replaced the capacitor and the system ran fine for us since then. There was a charge for the part but the cost was reduced because of our coverage with the maintenance agreement.
We have since, sold our home and purchased another. There is a 10 year warranty on our new furnace but it is through a different company. I hope that they are as good as Rusk H&C.
Will we call Rush H&C again if we are in a situation where we need them? ABSOLUTELY!
Rusk is my "go-to" HVAC company. They have great people and always are accommodating. When they installed my HVAC system (heating and A/C) last March they came back to make sure it was all tuned up and ready for winter at no charge. My previous company was just as friendly but that was a gimmick to lower my guard when they gave me the price. Glad I found Rusk.
Been using Rusk for 23 years. Once or twice our system went down and they were all over it. I can count on them to be responsive if I need them. We have them out twice a year as part of our annual maintenance contract. This has been key to having the system operate efficiently and its longevity.
I have dealt with Rusk heating and air for over 25 years. Their service is consistently timely and valuable. They have always been willing to go the extra mile to consider solutions to the older homes we have lived in as well as in the newer homes. I have use them for routine maintenance as well as for emergency after hours help. They are an excellent company
