Advantage Heating and A/C

Figured out furnace wasn’t working properly because was overheating. The filter that had only been in for one month was covered in some sort of white powdery stuff. I asked what he thought it was and he guesses either baking flour or cat litter. I did a search online after he left and it was actually most likely caused by a cold running humidifier that is in the living room near the intake. It apparently causes white powdery dust from minerals in water that can clog furnace filters! Maybe this will help someone else figure out an issue- we thought running a humidifier was good for the heater. Won’t be using humidifier anymore.

Angel was a great representative for Advantage Htg / Cooling. He was prompt, respectful and work diligently to compete the task swiftly but correctly.

Had Advantage install a mini split in June and another mini split in December. Wonderful experience. Marshall, Josh and Patrick were all extremely professional, timely, courteous, and did great work. Good communication from office staff as well. Highly recommend!

Thomas did a fine job. We have been with advantage ever since we bought this house in 1991.

I had my air conditioner quit on one of the hottest weeks and it was going to be a while until they could come out and fix it but then they realized it was under warranty and someone was able to come within a day and get it fixed and adjusted. Quick work And because I could not be on hand they were sure to call me and let me know what they had done and they had taken care of it. They even went ahead and closed the windows so that the air could cool the house down. I was very happy.
