Justin was very thorough. Explained the programmable thermostat and discussed what options worked best for “us”. He solved our heating issue almost immediately. Discussed appropriate MERV filters and the various differences and costs. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Recommended other products to help with dust and airflow. VERY pleased with service!

Service was excellent. They showed up early and ready to start diagnosis of our problem. Didn't have the part but called to order what they needed. Returned early the next morning to fix our AC.

Had furnace stop working at the worst time while I was out of town. The guys at Des Moines Heating and Cooling were able to come out right away and get it back up and running. Further diagnostic testing indicated new furnace was probably best option, and they got a new one installed the next day. Top notch service, honest recommendations for repair, would highly recommend.

They came to my residence when there have been so many who wouldn't due to service area or never even bothered to show up. 2 previous contractors were told I had the money to do an entire HVAC system and didn't show. After giving me an estimate a week later I had a brand new system installed and running. The 2 installers were very professional and finished the whole job in less then 6 hours. When I had questions they gladly explained things to me. When I had a minor issue Justin walked me through it on the phone and was willing to come the hour drive hear on the coldest day. There service and workmanship is excellent and.i will recommend them.

These folks have replaced both my AC and furnace in the last 8 months and their service is fantastic. My furnace went out when it was getting super cold and they provided portable heaters to help get us through the night and then we're here right away the next morning. Amazing folks, and amazing service.

Amazing service from this company. The day before Christmas Eve my furnace stopped working. I had a different company come out that told me I needed a total unit replacement and to shut off the furnace as it was unsafe. Keep in mind this was during -40 degree weather. Des Moines Heating and Cooling owner came out shortly after and was immediately giving me a honest and thorough explanation. He said while my furnace is on it's last legs, it did NOT need to be shut off or immediately replaced. The best part was, he did not charge me for his time. He mentioned he would be glad to quote me a price to replace, and he came in lower than any of the competition. I really appreciated his honest approach and will be using him for all of my HVAC needs in the future.

The owner personally came out the day before Christmas Eve to check on my furnace that was having issues. After being told by another company I needed a new furnace immediately, he was honest and said I probably had more life left in this one but it was time to start saving for a new one. I appreciate his honesty and knowledge, and he didn’t even charge me for his time. Great company!!!

Hands down the fastest and best quality I've ever experienced with heating and cooling. We had a humidifier put on our furnace and we could tell the difference right away. They are very professional and easy to work with.
