Rob did an amazing job. He was on time very and informative and polite. He walked us through exactly what he was doing and fixed everything in a timely manner.
Earl's is obscenely expensive. The customer service was nice, but based on the quote I received, a service call is somewhere around $300 to $450 per hour. A service operation is only as good as the guy that shows up. I'm glad there are plenty of alternatives.
We appreciate Matthews prompt response to our service needs. He called prior to advise he was in-route and estimated his time of arrival. He arrived a little ahead of schedule and got directly to work. He was able to diagnose the problem quickly, suggest the most efficient and cost effective repair and complete that repair. The unit is running fine and we are glad that we called Earl’s for their service.
I had to leave this review,Robert came out to service my boiler that went out,I'm so grateful to Robert for helping me out,he was awesome!! Thanks for saving my day Robert you did a great job,I recommend you guys highly! 👏🏼👏🏼👍
We called Earl’s out for an emergency heating system repair. Matthew responded to our call shortly after to take a look. He was able to get the part we needed the next morning and came back out to install very quickly. He worked with our difficult schedule and was polite and informational throughout, despite being called out on a Sunday evening. The call center reps were also very polite and helpful. We will definitely be using Earl’s in the future.
Boiler had been shut down and drained, and a zone permanently disconnected, by someone else in preparation for waterproofing the basement. After hearing from many companies that they did not service boilers, I was glad to find that Earl's would start it up again. They repaired the boiler as needed, finished the zone removal, installed a new thermostat, and filled and started up the boiler. Of course the repairs were costly, but I'm glad they didn't try to push me into getting a new system. A few days later someone else went to the house (I now live about 200 miles away) and let me know the house was not warm enough. I called Earl's and they went right back and solved the problem. Thankfully it then worked well through the winter. One suggestion I have is that they also check around the house for any noticeable leaks in the system; when I finally got back there, a small leak had been coming from one of the baseboard radiators for some time, and was apparent on the floor around it. A Friday afternoon call to Earl's, and since I chose not to pay the extra for an after-hours service, a technician is scheduled to be there first thing Monday morning. I'm happy with that! This company seems to value integrity and honesty in their work, biblical principles that are much needed in our world.
Technician arrived early. Dispatcher squeezed us in. Had to order part. Did the best they could under the circumstances. Have dealt with them for 20+ years.
We had been a previous customer and had them come out to do a check up on our geothermal AC. Replaced a part and said everything was good to go. Then when it actually got hot, our AC stopped working and they REFUSED to come out even though its 90 outside and 80+ in our house. Said they're booked for 3 weeks, did not offer any after hours call or anything to squeeze us in for an emergency call. Told them they lost our business since we could not count on them when we actually need them. What kind of crooked careless AC company doesnt come out to fix broken AC that they worked on, WHEN ITS 90 DEGREES OUT?
