WAYYY OVERPRICED!!! Our air went out a couple months ago and we had Korte come out to run a diagnostic and they said our blower motor was broken. We went ahead and told them to order the part for us and it took almost 3 weeks to come in (which was frustrating because we have a baby and puppy so really needed air quick). Once it finally arrived they called back with a price… They gave us a price for labor and it was way out of our budget so we decided to call around because we’ve heard from a few of our friends that their prices were high. We reached out to Poormans Heating and Air and they came to check it out (the day we called) and fixed it (still the same day) for LESS than half the price Korte quoted us for! Oh and also the blower motor wasn’t even the issue in the first place so we would’ve paid Korte an arm and a leg and still would’ve had a broken air conditioner.

Primary complaint- they damaged my radon abatement system while replacing my sump pump, and twice when I requested they fix it, shrugged and said that’s ‘not a service they provide’.
My sump went out and Korte replaced it— they were very fast (which was great!) and very expensive. It’s what I needed at that point. But they continually upsold me, and at one point cornering me while home alone in my (waterlogged) basement.
I don’t leave a lot of negative reviews but I’m at my wits end with this whole experience with Korte.

We had a couple of outlets that unusable, or partly unusable for years. I made an appointment for between 2 and 4, but they called and were able to come early. Terry and Justin were super nice and replaced the outlets and even changed a couple of bulbs that were out of my reach. I'm sure I'll be calling Korte again for other jobs.

Tech Irie has been to my home twice now and is very professional and takes time to explain things very well to me without making me feel dumb about what is happening in my home. Great job Irie!!! This time he was joined by Adam Rudolph who showed me via camera what was happening in my main line, all good news! He talked with me about things that I can do moving forward but didn't pressure me in anyway.
I will continue to use Korte. They are very professional and no surprises at payment time.

Originally spoke to someone for an estimate back in the end of February came out early March. They told me they could complete the work in early April. There were several delays and the work wasn’t completed until the middle of may. Also the project manager Adam I spoke with was extremely rude to me, and was poor with communication. For example I was told the work was scheduled in early April I got a date they told me it would take two days. When the workers were there they started talking about having a phase 1 and then coming back at a later date fo finish the work. No one told me about not having it finished before the workers were in my home. They also didn’t tell me the county would need access to the inside of my home without warning or an appointment until after we failed our first inspection because we were not home. Korte didn’t even tell me we failed inspection I called them because I was expecting a call back about coming back to finish the work. I told adam I wasn’t a fan of the poor communication and he sarcastically said “well I’m telling you now” Also one of their workers tripped in my attic and caused a massive hole in the ceiling of my dining room making me take an additional day off of work to be home for someone to fix it and they also didn’t tell their boss I called the following day. They also damaged our drywall in several areas including brand new drywall. For the final stage they were told to enter through the back door that was unlocked on the final day and they showed up tried to enter through the front door and left calling me an hour later to tell me they were working on another project and they could get back to me next week. I had to call and argue with the project manager and they did come complete the work as promised that day so we would have working outlets. The project manager also was rude to me for not picking up my phone immediately at 8am when I work late nights and that is the middle of the night for me. Also the workers when they were in my home asked me more than once when my husband would be home so they could speak to him. I hired them. I’m paying them not my spouse. Absolutely abhorrent behavior by all people I’ve been in contact with from this company.

Out $99 AND NO WORK WAS DONE!

I own a rental Property In Fort Wayne and live out of town.
I called Korte who says they do it all. I ask them to come and Fix a Toilet that would not stop running. I was assuming that it was just the Boober or Flapper that was bad and needed replace. The service is call was $99 for the Tech to come out...this is where the catch is.
Other pluming companies were $150 call which cover the 1st hour; and then the would charge you for Parts. Boober and Flaps are anywhere from $6 to $30 so I should have been around $129 on the High side to replace the flap. We'll once Korte was out there they said the flap replace is a extra $108 on top of the $99 service call. They proceeded to say that everything is piece mill, I said sorry I'm not interested in getting ripped off today and that I was going to review them. Kory said that he didn't care because the get enough reviews that one would not hurt.

I would stay clear of this company.

Called for an emergency, we had a busted pipe and needed someone to look at it. Yes it was a holiday and during cold weather. The guy that called us back to schedule an appointment to come, was rude and totally unprofessional. He acted like it was an inconvenience that we called them. Mentioned how much it would cost for him to come out here a least 3 times. I made it clear I would not need someone out here unless it was an emergency. Yes, we could pay. My husband asked him to stop being rude and he only got more defensive. I guess know who I will never call again for any kind of service.

I had a new furnace installation that went great they walked me through the system had a little problem but Emily the technician came out later that same day and fixed the issue quickly. Definitely recommend Korte and will continue using them for all our hvac needs

Eric, Ryan and Chance were the installers. They installed a new heat pump and air handler in our home in 1 day complete, they were all very professional and quick to answer our questions.
Korte is a great company with steller employees including Chris and Trevor also. Thank you for a job well done.
