I have nothing but good things to say about everyone I've worked with at Blue Frost. From Ed who helped us pick out a new heat pump system, to Brian who just came out today to correct the wiring a different company messed up on our thermostat, they're very knowledgeable, experienced, and kind. We definitely plan on sticking with Blue Frost for any other HVAC services we may need. Thank you!!!

We had Blue Frost install our Mitsubishi ductless air conditioning and these guys knocked it out of the park!! Right from the beginning I knew this is who we wanted, from the salesman to the office being so responsive and the techs who worked their butts off! I highly recommend them and these Mitsubishi units are amazing! Our electric bill is less than our old house which was half the size. Thanks guys, you rock!!

We recently had Blue Frost out to install an entirely new heating/AC system due to continuous issues with the system at our new home. Our entire experience with Blue Frost was amazing. I love this company but this time I feel like I got ripped off. I’m an 80 yr old widow. Had my furnace cleaned a month ir so ago, then had a floor demo due to clogged air conditioner filter, there was sooo much dust I wanted the furnace rechecked just in case
Technician came out, spent 15 minutes, told me dust woukd not have gotten into furnace as long as I changed the filter I was fine- which I had done!! Cost $118. I explained my problem when I called for the recheck and shoukd have been told tgen that furnace Should be fine ! Not happy .

After several phone calls, Blue Frost was willing to come out again and corrected another thing that went wrong with the original installation, so I’ve now added another star. Because the air conditioner installation was done in the winter, the concrete pad was sharply tilted and had to be filled and re-leveled.
This was originally a five star review that I changed to three stars. Blue Frost office has worked with me to try to help me with some problems that arose after my original installation. This included broken siding around the furnace exhaust, and the initial setup on my furnace was done wrong so that the second stage didn't kick in and the furnace wouldn't keep my house above 65 degrees. The person who created those problems apparently was fired at a later date. But I did learn in working with the office to correct things, that what the office promised wasn't what the workmen were willing to do. I also learned later that because I was in such urgent need of a furnace I was sold a discontinued model. When I was quoted a price for a furnace only one model was offered to me, and that was the discontinued model. I was also told there was no way to repair the furnace that I had, but apparently it was just the blower motor which may or may not have been feasible to replace. I later learned that I paid quite a premium price for the furnace replacement , but this is somewhat understandable considering the fact that I called them in the middle of a cold snap, on a weekend, and needed help immediately. I have to admit that for the premium price I paid , I would have expected a better experience. I have since replaced the furnace they put in because of ongoing problems.

Original review: When my 30-year-old furnace died in the middle of the night, on a cold weekend in January, I was really worried about how I would get help, and a new furnace asap. I've counted on Blue Frost in the past, under the original owner, for everything from service calls to installing new duct work and they also relined my 100 plus-year-old chimney. Krys provided me with my options early in the morning Saturday, and work started by 10:30 a.m.. They worked all day, in the middle of a snow storm, to put in my new Trane two-stage furnace. My installers, Kevin and Jon, were incredibly nice, wonderful guys and highly skilled HVAC technicians. My home was deeded in 1862, and Kevin and Jon had their work cut out for them to do such a nice, clean installation, as well as correcting preexisting problems (incorrect furnace exhaust pipe, dangerous wiring, improper condensate drainage, and damaged duct work). Kevin and Jon did a beautiful job. Tom and Blue Frost's office staff are great people as well. They answered my questions, addressed my concerns, and made a package deal to replace both my furnace and A/C, which saves money in the long-run. Btw, I never would have thought of buying a two-stage, variable speed furnace, but it is perfect for my old home, which can still be a little drafty, despite new windows and added insulation. This is going to be a much warmer winter this year. Thank you, Blue Frost!
