We have been committed to using R.H. Witt for over 20 years. They have always been there for us, being a commercial account requires extra attention and they have never let us down. I also use them for my home an highly recommend their affordable maintenance agreement program.

Just came to Witt and wish I had met them years ago! We have a somewhat complicated system and Luke came and solved longstanding problems with a great bit of electronic sleuthing. Folks on the phone are great, too. Super grateful.

Be careful and get an estimate first. I have a 3 year-old water heater that was dripping from the pressure relief valve. I called and had someone come out. In 5 minutes, the guy identified the problem as a bad pressure relief valve. Luckily, the guy didn't have a valve in the truck and told me they'd have to order it. Oh, and it cost me $68 for the problem identification.

Later in the day, I got a call with an estimate of $385 to replace a $15 valve (cost from the manufacturer's site). After asking for a cost break down, I was told it was going to cost me $55 for the part (4 1/2 times markup on the part), 1.5 hours of labor (@ $175/hr), plus some 24 Hour Service fee.

So, had I gone ahead, it would have cost me $453 to replace a $15 valve on a 3 year-old water heater that cost me $600. Doesn't sound right. It was a $68 lesson I learned.
