    I wanted to write a quick note to say how happy I am with Bob from R.H. Witt. Bob has worked with us over the years. He fixed our boiler today. Bob is extremely knowledgeable about all things heating and always does an excellent job. In addition, he is courteous and thoughtful and does a great job explaining his work.

    My third floor heating furnace stopped working on Sunday. I called RH Witt Monday and they said someone could be out the next day between 12n-4p (it was not urgent). They called Tuesday around 11:35am and said a technician was on his way. Micky arrived around 12n. He was friendly, professional, work a mask and shoe covers. Diagnosed and fixed problem in 15 minutes. I have now switched to RH Witt for the annual service plan.

    Last year I switched HVAC service providers and was fortunate to choose R. H. Witt.
    I needed a new AC unit as the one I had "died" of old age.

    An engineer came out, checked my system and recommended the unit that would be the correct size, I signed the deal and within a week the new unit was installed. The actual work took about a day and a half. The mechanics were courteous, tidy and very professional.

    I have since replaced my furnace and I had the same experience.

    RH Witt sent a tech out within the day to repair our Carrier furnace, which had stopped working in the middle of the night and was showing multiple error codes. Bob went above and beyond to figure out the problem. It turned out to be an odd issue that was causing a problem with the pressure switches. Rather than just telling us that we needed a new part and coming back another time to complete the repair, he was able to address the problem to make the furnace workable—and ensure we had heat—until they cancome back and replace the parts.

    Our A/C stopped working on a Saturday and Mark G. came out within an hour of my call. He quickly found the problem and got the condenser running again. He also gave me some tips about how to help keep the condenser running more efficiently during heat waves. Mark was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend using R. H. Witt.

    We are in the process of buying a new house in The Glen. I reached out to R.H Witt (Carrier dealer) a few weeks back to set up an inspection of the water heater, Heating and Cooling systems. Over the years I have had many of these sorts of inspections and they are more or less standard run of the mill, usually nice and professional guys (thus far always guys). Today I met Luke a technician from R.H. Witt. I don’t know where he trained but he was on top of every system, provided excellent advice without the sometimes salesy pressure.

    He laid things out, pros and cons, discussed age of systems, recommended life extension strategies rather than replacement strategies (novel) and was truly professional in every way. It is rare to find a craftsman of Luke’s age to be so experienced. If you hire R.H. Witt, and I do recommend them, then ask for Luke to be your service technician. You won’t be disappointed.

    What a fantastic company to deal with! Craig Heraty and his team at RH Witt were a delight from start to finish. Consummate professionals. From bidding a complex residential system (and then rebidding it when the engineer realized he sent the wrong bid docs) to installation, they were always pleasant, helpful, and eager to get everything right. When the radiant heat didn't seem warm enough, they came back several times to reset the boiler temperature until it worked perfectly. This was a complicated system and the installation was not easy. (Try carrying a 300 pound commercial hot water tank down a recently renovated stairwell without making a mark). They did an amazing job. I would recommend them without reservations. And I don't say that often!

    Had a bad smell in our forced hot air system. Turned out to be a cracked heat exchanger which means that carbon monoxide was leaking into our domestic air. Bad mojo. If you smell something funny, get it checked out! Another company diagnosed the problem but while seeking a second opinion found R.H. Witt. Ended up going with them because of the time and care they took to explain all the options. I liked the way they laid out all the options and discussed the pros/cons in a neutral way. High on information and low on pressure. Very nice. We elected to get a new unit which they installed ahead of schedule and at a very competitive price. All work was done properly and they left the house spotless. Their tech was knowledgeable and did the job with care and attention to detail. Top knotch across the board.

    I investigate my major purchases almost to a fault. I just had a new Carrier furnace installed today and i would highly recommend RH Witt for all of your HVAC needs. Very professional knowledgeable and courteous for great price.

    Heat went out on Saturday and Luke of R.H. Witt came to the rescue late in the afternoon. He needed a circuit board to get our furnace working again and was able to have someone at the supply house reopen after hours to solve the problem.
    Luke took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done and was very quick to replace the damaged board. He couldn't have been more professional in his work and his concern.
