Beware and stay far away. Dont waste your time and money. I used them for years and finally wised up. They dont honor the warranty and they charge double for labor than other reputable companies out there. Their techs are not very nice either, and they are working for you. Hows that for a slap to the face. Stay away from this company it has gone way down hill.

We have been using them for years. Probably not the cheapest around but they are reliable and the technicians are knowledgeable and professional. We live in Beach Park and try to use businesses located in our community. The young man (Gustavo) who did the service this year was very nice, professional and on time. He was efficient and didn't try to sell us on anything we didn't need or want.

My mom was very satisfied with the installation of her A/C unit. Sergio and Niamya did a great job. Sergio made sure all our questions were answered.

I called, because our heat had gone out, at 7:50 am on a Monday morning and had someone at my door at 8:15 am. The technician did a very thorough diagnostic of our furnace and determined that our unit was about 10 years past it’s useful lifespan and was potentially leaking carbon monoxide (camera showed several cracks on the heater coil) so Marissa, a Comfort Advisor, was dispatched the same day to show us our options. Once we picked our new unit we were on the schedule for the following morning. The two technicians showed up on time and were very professional and we had heat again that afternoon. Can’t say enough good things about our whole experience. Thank you to the entire Kern Heating and Cooling crew.

Dan is a great technician. Have used his services for several years. He gives clear explanations of what he has found, shares pictures of problem areas and always takes time to explain our options.

So glad to have a great professional like Michael come to our house. He was thorough and knew what to look for. He found and removed a clump of hair and dust from our blower motor that our previous service company has missed for many years. We will be using Kern from now on. Kyle and Sergio were quite skilled at constructing a custom plenum box and custom round ductwork after removing the old equipment and installing the new HVAC system, especially since it's located in a rather small utility room.

The new outdoor concrete base for the AC unit is a major improvement as well.

I've now had some time to get used to the new system. It is a marketly better experience overall and working splendidly.

I'd like to thank Marissa for providing me with 2 options, unlike the other estimates I received.
