Very disrespectful. Refuse to fix the one part that was wrong said everything needs to be fixed when the boiler was just running. Said one part will get it running but hes not gonna replace the one part unless i fixed everything. Very rude, aggressive and argumentative. Havnt felt more ripped off in my life
Another HVAC company left us in the cold! Kern Heating stepped up and got us running without any drama, just solid performance and professionalism. Austin and Dan were extremely helpful in getting us back up and running and their knowledge of the Navien Combi system that we run is remarkable! Money well spent! Kern is #1 and they are truly the experts in HVAC !
Everybody whom I had talked to was friendly and very knowledgeable. All of the technicians who came over to our house were prompt and got down to business immediately. I highly recommend Kern for your heating and cooling needs.
Tried to get a quote for boiler replacement. They were responsive at first, came out promptly, even said they were having issues finding boilers to install. Then... Silence. I emailed back twice, put in a request via the website, nothing. I called customer service over a week ago and they were going to look into it (they saw the notes on my account) and I've gotten no follow up, and it's been 2 months of trying to see what was going on. Very disappointed because they were recommended by a neighbor as being great.
Dan Garbett came into our home way before he was scheduled which is hasty service! and did a great job servicing our heating system. He was very informative and even showed us how to alleviate the water pressures within our system, he did a very wonderful job thank you.
Dan was very professional and friendly. Did the maintence needed to get my furnace working but offered a replacement quote in the future. Very pleased and will be using again.
I love companies that assume when customers call to complain it’s because they want a refund (which there should have been in this instance) but what we really want is honest and integrity, which is not Kern. If I call to have a problem addressed just take care of the problem, do not “fix” other issues and continue to charge me for something I didn’t ask for and still proceed to not fix the problem I originally called for! Do not call Kern if you want false information given to you so they can upsell you into a new system because my furnace is 11 years old? False: my system is actually only 7 years old. If you want to charge the amounts you do for your services but can’t even tell me the correct year of my unit then what other misleading information are you selling to customers? The saddest part was after speaking with the manager, who also tried to upsell me a new unit on my 11 year old unit (actual year 7) was that still nothing was resolved nor is my system still in working condition. This type of service is unacceptable and I urge you to think twice before calling Kern!
Greedy company and bad customer service, the tech was great but i’m getting charged a service fee for a bad malfunctioning part that’s under warranty. Even the tech agrees that I shouldn’t have had to be charged but he’s just doing his job. Great tech, very professional.
UPDATE: I had a new HVAC company come out and the issue was literally resolved in 30 minutes .Turns out the malfunctioned part was still working properly and the issue was something completely different. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company, I’ll definitely be steering others I personally know to my new provider
