Byrd Heating & Air Conditioning

HVAC quit working today around 3:55. Called Byrd and they sent someone out at 5pm. James who serviced our HVAC quickly found the problem and had it up and running in 30 minutes. Byrd has always been quick and professional. I highly recommend them!!!!!!! They installed unit 11 years ago and we have had a annual service contract with them since. Preventive maintenance every six months pays!!!!!

Long story short my husband and I closed on our home on Friday. The air was messed up and the temperature would not go down past 80 degrees. We had one person from a different company come on Saturday night to "fix the problem" which wasn't fixed at all and screwed us out of $150. We tried contacting him again Sunday morning and he totally ignored us.
Clay came Sunday afternoon and actually took the time and went in the attic to find the problem unlike the other guy. He was very knowledgeable and explained to us what happened. Our air is fixed and we will continue using this company if we ever come across a problem again. Highly recommend.

Save your money and use a company that cares about it's customers. Service man said blower motor was bad. I told him to order. HE didn't so 2 weeks later I called and was told I had to call and order. I did and it took 2 more weeks for the motor to arrive. After install we still didn't have heat. Service person didn't do a full check to figure out the problem even though I took his thermometer and checked temp at the registers. ON the third trip I told him to find the issue. It was a switch on the condenser. No one was professional enough to actually diagnose the issue and fix it I shouldn't have to run after the service person.

We are long time Byrd Heating and Air customers. Recently Byrd proved that our faith is not misplaced. The compressor on our unit went bad. We called Byrd and technician Joshua was at our home within an hour. He quickly diagnosed the issue and advised the compressor had to be replaced. Service tech Sam returned the following day and completed repairs. We are grateful to have such a reputable service provider in our area. We highly recommend Byrd Heating and Air for all of your Heating and cooling needs

Great service! Would highly recommend! This is my second time calling Bryd Heating & Air Conditioning to fix my AC unit! The technician the second time around was friendlier than the first. This will be the technician that I ask for for future problems. His name was Bobby. He was great! He did an excellent job at diagnosing the problem and explaining what exactly was wrong with the unit. He also made sure to answer all my questions and go over exactly what he was doing! I appreciate the transparency, I’ve had problems with previous contractors that would misdiagnose the problem and create a bigger problem and not even fix the problem! So it’s nice that I found a reliable and efficient contractor at Byrd!

Installed a smart thermostat and it blew hot air all night. Called them and James came to help. Quick service and he checked everything and besides fixing my setup issue gave me some good advice when it comes time to replace my air conditioning unit. Good people, good service, I would reccomend them to anyone in the area.

Matt was wonderful. He helped us get our a/c up and running on a 90 degree day. When we told him we were looking at getting a new a/c he gave us a reasonable estimate for a very reputable brand. We will defiantly call Byrd when we are ready to buy the new system. Thank you so much.

The technician showed up on time the first day, he had to return the next to replace the new parts. He was within the designated appointment time.

He was very clear in his explanation of the issues, and what was needed to correct the problem.

My husband and I really appreciate his attention and details.
