Overall, had a good experience and would use them again. They came out the next day while other companies told me I’d need to wait 4-5 days.. The technician was friendly and professional. The only negative is they were 1.5 hours late and their company didn’t not answer calls during that time to confirm if they were running late or not coming at all.

Our appointment time was between 11:00 and 1:00. The technician didn’t show until 1:50. No phone call to update the arrival time. The tech seemed to do a good job, but with the late start it delayed the plans we had made for the afternoon.

Byrd Heating & Air Condition was tremendous. As an Army service member who is away from his rental property the most important thing is customer service and integrity. I was previously quoted an outrageous amount from another company that I had contracted to conduct my biannual A/C maintenance. I then call Byrd Heating for a second opinion. Within two hours, they were able to have a technician at my rental property. Don, the A/C technician, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He quickly diagnosed the issue and replace the inoperable component. In addition, he kept me in the loop through the entire process. His expertise saved me over $10,000. This is not a joke. I cannot thank this company enough for their overall professionalism and subject matter experience. Just a few months ago, Byrd came out several times to clear the plumbing. The tray over flowed & we had water damage. They fixed the plumbing & repaired the water damage. Our unit is about 3yrs old and only Byrd has worked on our HVAC ( the original and now the new).

The unit stopped working Sunday. They came out Monday. A service call alone is $79 plus.
We were told we now need to pour bleach down the drain tube every month!

This service call was $128. We will no longer use Byrd because we feel this was just the same issue that we sealed wit a few months ago.

We are very disappointed with the additional charges.
