AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. I was a long time (5 years) customer with Cool-Tech, and that included having an annual service contract on both of my units, and I often referred them to my friends and co-workers. Not anymore. Cool-Tech was not prepared to handle the recent heat wave and the increase in customers needing help. Despite my service contract, when I really needed them, they were not there for me. I had to call back repeatedly to schedule a repair, and then had to wait a week just to get someone to just look at my unit, but not fix it. While trying to set up the repair, which I was told by the tech would be around $1600, the office manager Traci couldn't be bothered with returning my phone calls when promised or providing me a promised actual estimate. When I finally complained directly to the owner, all I got was a rude, angry response to my complaint and a lot of flack about how long and hard is employees are working. Seems like he thinks his failure to prepare for the summer heat is my fault. My response to him was "You're fired." After wasting over 2 weeks with Cool-Tech, I found another company to make the repair the next day, and they did it for $200 less than Cool-Tech would have. Bottom line, there are plenty of good HVAC companies out there that care about your business, who won't be rude, and who won't rip you off. Cool-Tech is not one of them.
After working with a heating/air company for 31 years, I called Cool-Tech to diagnose a problem that they couldn't find. Simply a thermostat that kept going out. Three visits by my former service company did not fix the problem. A new thermostat and then a new motor failed. Next was to be an all new dual heating and air unit. Thousands of dollars. Called Cool-Tech before committing to a new unit. Their service man (Glen) took the time and care of finding the problem. A hidden chewed wire. Very grateful for the thorough care and the huge savings!

I purchased a home and when arriving within 2 days, the unit wouldn't cool. Todd came on a Sunday, told me what was wrong. On Tuesday they worked all day replacing the heat pump and unit. Once checking airflow it was discovered the ducts needs to be replaced. They were so wonderful and finished on Wednesday. Within 4 days everything was corrected, fixed and cleaned up. The price was exact and the office assistant, Hannah was helpful as well. I highly recommend them and will be setting up my service checks with them!!!

I always appreciate their recommendations for improving my systems performance and gaining more efficiency. They are a top notch HVAC organization.

Mark serviced our units: cleaned condenser coils and recharged them with coolant. Service was great. Explanation was superb. Customer service extraordinary. Cool-Tech HVAC will be maintaining my units going forward and when it's time for a new system, I will be calling them. Service like this is an investment in getting my future business. Thank you!
