I'll be honest. My experience with them has had it's ups and downs, but I really believe that the bad can be redeemed by how it's handled.

My initial experience with them was outstanding. I've replaced my A/C unit before and have always had a home contract for appliances and garage that takes care of the minor things. This time, the ac stopped working, the company that has worked with me for years said that we are too far and would not come out. Miami Ice answered the call and came out the same night (at like 8pm...which is unheard of). They gave me options for quick fixes as well as total replacement and even partial replacement. After reviewing ALL of the options (thanks to Jorge), we decided that total replacement would be most beneficial as it includes warranty.

I wasn't able to be home when the work was done, but my grandmother was. I was very disappointed in the initial work because things that were promised to me were not done that way. (It seems the work may have been outsourced and the subcontracted company replaced the unit but didn't bother to notice that the drainage was clogged and left holes in my walls and a mess where the ac closet door once was.)

I spoke with Javier immediately and he agreed that this was not right. Not only did they have their employees come out to check the work, but they replaced everything that needed to be including the drainage AND the holes as well as all carpentry work.

Most people would read this and expect a poor review, but I really believe that, while they have had to learn their lesson about subcontracting work, they truly handled everything in a professional manner that makes me trust them over any other company.
Even though we had our ups and downs, I CONFIDENTLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE IN NEED OF AC REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT!

Miami Ice installed our AC almost 3 years ago and we bought the 5-year labor/parts service contract. When AC stopped cooling we called and a service visit was scheduled for the next morning. The tech was right on time, went to work, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the thermostat. Cooled great! But that night the AC went out, so called the next morning and scheduled a service call for the next day. The tech was right on time, found the new problem (not uncommon for a replaced part to expose the problem with a part that's on the verge of going) -- replaced the motor and some other parts -- and now it's cooling great! Good company, solid service, no problems honoring the service contract. Glad we went with Miami Ice. (And no, I don't own part of the company. Picked them off Home Adviser!)

He came and banged around …there was a disconnected damper but he never mentioned it….and pointed supposedly at rust telling me that it will break soon even tho it’s only 3 years old….asked him if he could put in UV LIGHT…he said he could NOT because there was not enough space to install it! Sears came by a few days later and said they COULD INSTALL a UV Light….this company was trying to make up things that they claimed would soon break.I would NEVER use them again!

They installed a new A/c, probably not the cheapest but worth every penny! for the price i not only got a new a/c plus service agreement included for years to come. Have called them for service and they are very reliable, efficient, competent and friendly. Great customer service! very happy with my purchase. would highly recommend!

I am very happy with the excellent service of this awesome company , Lazaro was the best call me when I need them sent the service to the house told was wrong with my unit and then I decide to buy the new unit .
They will install it tomorrow and I'm very happy that today in this world exist people honest and with a great service. The price was excellent . I will definitely recommend this company to every one. Amen .

What can you say? AC went out overnight, and an early morning call resulted in an assessment and estimate within hours. Only an hour after the assessment the technician arrived at my home to repair my unit. It's hot in Miami, that's why I prefer the cool service and professionalism of Miami Ice! Thank you!

Got a call after just 5 minutes of the phone. Tech went to the house and inspected the ac unit. The next day got a new unit installed at great price. Cannot beat the service that these guys offer best in the industry clean bussiness, clean installation and overall great services to their customers. Hands down best in the industry in my opinion. Great job...

They are super sweet but in the end I lost 100% respect. The technician wasn't aware i was watching his So called "thorough inspection" of my unit. Removed panel stared at it n put back panels. DONE.
Specifically asked "Did you check pressure n fluid levels? " His answer " Yes I did " Game over 👎
So My search cont... there has to be a honest a/c business in Florida 🙄
** update ...went to work outside noticed some screws sitting by the window. He misaligned the panel without returning the screws!! Wow .. n never got a return call from management.

This air conditioning company is great! I didn’t know what was wrong with my A/C, they walked me through what happened in a detailed way then gave me options and fixed it much faster than what I imagined and the price was super reasonable. They were on time, very professional guys. They also now have plumbing!
