We contracted Miami Ice to install a new A/C unit in our home. Right from the start we had problems. It ran incredibly loud & they had to come out & put it on a concrete slab & secure the unit to the slab. It still ran pretty loud, but after several attempts to re-secure it to get it to run quieter, we just stopped asking.Then are the temps started to rise outside, we noticed that the new unit wasn't really cooling the house. We would set it at 75 & the temps in the house would run 83-87 degrees! Everytime they sent someone to look at it, they would claim that it was working fine. They said we needed insulation, new duct work, anything but to admit that the new unit they installed was not cooling properly.We called FPL to do an energy survey (after getting a $250 electric bill on our 950 sq ft home). FPL ran a test & said that the a/c was not cooling the house properly.Miami Ice said that FPL was wrong & the unit was fine. Finally after 4 months, all new duct work, all new insulation & buying a portable a/c unit at home depot , we called another company to look at our A/C.They said the coil was not funtioning and needed to be replaced. We paid the other company $450 to fix it & low and behold it is now finally cooling our home.
Also, Miami Ice never pulled a permit to install our new unit. That is a criminal offense. Do not use this company.

Their prices are extremely inflated (300%)! Their technicians and sales men take FULL advantage of a consumer's lack of knowledge in the HVAC field. I will never recommend them or utilize their services again.

Unit was under warranty for parts we needed to pay for labor. Miami Ice charged $850 for less than 3 hours of labor. When questioned about the price they said they only charge per job not per hour. This came out to $283.00 per hour!

I Called Miami Vice And They Were Able To Get Someone Out Within 30mins To Fix My Home AC. Javier, Was The Best By Far . Very Professional , Knew Exactly What’s Was Wrong With My AC. It Wasnt Blowing Cool Air Before But Now My House Is Running Ice Coldd Thanks To Miami Ice AC 😄😄😄👏👌

What is wrong wirh your AC unit. Unfortunately with what’s going on right now, I don’t have the funds for a new ac, but if you do I would recommend them. Very nice guys and a lot of knowledge!
