EXCELLENT SERVICE! Technicians showed up very quickly as our condenser had a failure. New TRANE unit installed the next day. Technician Sean was OUTSTANDING! Very knowledgable and personable. I would highly recommend this company. Thank you for an excellent experience!

Austin was very professional and cared about our concerns. He was very informative, and made sure we knew everything upfront to make the best decision. The next day with the full replacement of our water heater was seamless. They were on point, on time, and cleaned up after the install was complete. We hope our experience will help you make up your own mind:

EDS apparently set off the fire sprinklers in the condo unit above ours in the process of installing an air conditioning unit, flooding both units in the process and displacing our tenant (including his wife and young child) over the holidays.

They claimed they were going to stand by their obligations and make it right, but we feel they did not follow through. For example, while they understood they displaced our tenant and his family, they stopped coordinating and paying for the family’s hotel room while the condo was uninhabitable and being restored (a process we did our best to expedite for everyone’s benefit).

EDS then stopped returning our calls or responding to our emails concerning what to do about our displaced tenant and his family. Instead, EDS punted and told the tenant he’d have to deal with their insurance company and bear the burden of paying for the hotel room himself in the interim.

We feel that EDS acted unprofessionally and is a huge disappointment given their representations about making things right, especially insofar as we have been more than reasonable throughout the process. None of the higher ups ever responded to our written inquiries or even offered an apology. Not a single one.

If this company won’t stand by its mistakes how can you expect them to stand by their work? Flashy slogans and marketing materials only go so far. Actions speak volumes.

Seek out a company for which a high level of service and support is their creed, not just their slogan.

P.S. One of the reviewers below with a glowing 5 star review, Mickie Melvin, is actually their employee and the same person we dealt with on the flood damage claim. Query how many other employees reviewed the company? How can you trust the reviews if employees are submitting comments disguised as customers?

P.P.S. With respect to the company's response below, there are no excuses, just make it right. More importantly, the company's response is incomplete. The e-mail EDS quoted was sent on the second day they picked up the tab for the tenant's hotel, which was after quite a bit of effort on our part to make sure they understood their responsibilities and took care of the tenant and his family. It was after the e-mail was sent that they refused to cover the tenant's lodging anymore and refused to respond to our emails and calls. I suppose we were justified in getting animated with them the day before the email was sent because the very same thing we were concerned about - that they would shirk their responsibilities - actually came to pass.

At least they're being honest about the fact that they left everything to their insurer and washed their hands of the situation, which we feel is shirking their responsibilities without regard to the displaced tenant's needs and the needs of his family. It's like saying, "Hey, family rendered homeless, you pay for your own hotel! Covering your hotel and seeking reimbursement from our insurer ourselves is just too much to ask." Come on.

They also appear to acknowledge that Ms. Melvin, one of their "5 star" reviewers below, is actually their employee. This all seems a bit shady to us, but, again, you make up your own minds.

Wes came for my scheduled bi annual service. Very personable and knowledgeable. Diagnosed the system and found the unit was working at peak efficiency. Cleaned out the drain line. What a pro! LOVE EDS!

I recently signed up for a maintenance plan with EDS Air Conditioning. I was extremely impressed throughout the whole process. The prices were reasonable, they were extremely helpful with explaining the different plans, painless process to sign up, and they were extremely professionally when they came to do the maintenance. They showed up on time and even sent a profile via text of the person who was arriving so we knew who to expect. Extremely impressed with the professionalism and customer service!

Couldn't be more satisfied! Fair, honest, on time and knowledgeable. Our service tech was David. Two new programmable thermostats installed and programmed fast. One unit needs a new motor. Dave calls within 30 minutes of leaving and says he's already located a new one and will install tomorrow! Unbelievable in this short-supply environment.

EDS has been a service provider for a number of my family members. They are always on time. Most recently I had my old HVAC system die on Thursday evening. By the following Monday afternoon, I had a new system in place. The install crew (Ian and Johnathan) showed up early and were on point. Both the project manager (Donald) and crew manager (Sean) came on site to survey and participate in the work. I felt very well taken care of. Highly recommend!
