Wayne did his job quickly but efficiently. He tended to all of the working parts of my air conditioner. Was very helpful and knowledgeable with questions I asked. Most of all, Wayne is an honest technician, which I really appreciate.

I have been a customer of ARS (now Unique Services) for many years. My service technician, Mr. Wayne Hawkes is absolutely OUTSTANDING! Very professional, knowledgeable, sincere, kind and caring! He works on our AC unit as if it were his own - it doesn't get better than that. Everyone at ARS has always been outstanding with their service and product. I recommend them without reservation. BEST company around!

Air conditioner supposedly had maintenance performed in August 2019. Air conditioner shut down on Saturday, October 26; my air conditioner is new (installed in 2018). Even my older air conditioner (approx.. 10 years old) never shut down right after maintenance. A friend experienced in air conditioning came over and noticed that the air conditioner wasn't cleaned. He got the unit working again and said it needed to be appropriately cleaned and instructed me to call Unique and have them resend out a technician to clean the unit. I spoke with Customer Service on Saturday, October 26 about the issue. One of their maintenance people was supposed to contact me on Saturday; they never did. I followed up with Unique on Monday, October 28. In summary, Unique wanted me to pay an additional fee to have them come and fix the unit because they claimed that they did all of the maintenance on the unit. I told them I wasn't paying again for poor or lackluster service. I told them the reason why I purchased their maintenance plan was to ensure that my air conditioning unit would be serviced correctly. The customer service representative informed me that she needed to get management's approval to waive the fee and that she would contact me concerning the outcome. I never received a follow up call from Unique Services (it's been 4 days). The only thing I can say is that it has been very difficult to find trustworthy air conditioning maintenance folks in this area. I was given a referral for a family owned air conditioning company by a coworker that has also received poor service for their air conditioner. So far, the new referral has been friendly and very helpful. The customer service is excellent. I will never use Unique Services again and I have told all of my coworkers (I have a large department) not to use them. One thing companies need to keep in mind is that one unsatisfied customer can lead to a company not receiving many new customers.

Scam Warning: Unique uses the annual inspection to recommend unnecessary work. The tech performing an annual inspection recommended that the entire HVAC system be replaced immediately. The salesperson arrived a few hours later and said that the air handler fan was noisy and had some mold in it. The outdoor unit had some corrosion. But primarily, the unit is 7-8 years old and it is time to replace it. The price started at $11,000 and quickly dropped to $9000 for a Carrier unit. Another company's tech thoroughly inspected the system today and could find NOTHING wrong. He commented that the system looks to be in fairly "new" condition. What a shame.

He arrived early afternoon, cleaned the air conditioner, answered my questions about temperature settings, changed the battery in the thermostat for me, and gave me some helpful advice for caring for the unit before my summer departure. He was very courteous and polite, and I appreciate his professionalism.

Mario got here late afternoon. We had a leak in our AC system that was difficult to find. Mario was clever in isolating the leak and repaired it very quickly once he found it. Checked it thoroughly to make sure it was fixed. Refilled our system and our AC was back in business. I thought did a fantastic job for us and we appreciated that he worked late to get us running again. High integrity, high skill,and high quality work.
