Technician Ken was on time, personable and professional. We’ve used Jacobs for years, including new system installation and their Preventive Maintenance Service. With people like Ken, doing business with Jacobs is always a good experience.

We moved here 2 yrs ago, so not very familiar with service providers in this area. We chose to get a service quote from Jacob's based on some recommendations and very glad we did so. We decided to replace an 18y/o Heatpump/AC unit rather than repair (it had stopped working). Alex was prompt with coming out and providing a quote. Very thorough with their assessment, and explained what would be needed, not needed, and why. They were able to install the unit within a couple days. Technicians (John, Keagan, JD, Pablo, and Roy) were all professional and attentive to details. They answered any questions I had. It did take a little longer than expected since they had to get 2 replacement condenser units that were damaged (not by them). I was really impressed that they spent the time waiting, for the replacement parts to get here, by studying and quizing each other about AC stuff (they were preparing to take some kind of exam). The office personnel (Penny and ?) were also very responsive and easy to communicate with. They went beyond my expectations by submitting the warranty registrations and rebate forms.
I will definitely recommend this company.

We discovered Jacobs three years ago upon moving to Deland. With our home having an "aged" HVAC system & we not ready to replace it at that time, we contracted with Jacobs with their yearly maintenance program.
Hence, our introduction with their staff. We first met Ken. Ken is our maintenance tech, who has kept this old system "chugging" along with bi-annual maintenance, inspections, cleanings & lots of "tweeking" with little out of pocket expense for us. Ken is professional, thorough, very knowledgeable on HVAC systems & especially ones with natural gas furnaces like ours. This past winter maintenance Ken advised we should now consider replacement due to "high" readings the system was registering & it's age.
We agreed to meet with the next staff member, the sales/estimator, Alex. Can't say enough about Alex. Very professional, friendly, honest & also very knowledgeable on his products. After his inspection of our unit, measuring our home, calculating a " load assessment" & listening & answering/advising our concerns & what we want in a new system, he went promptly to work on a proposal for a new system. We felt the proposal we recieved was a good price for what wanted. Alex's assistance with finalizing the contract made it easy for us, allowing for "on-line completion & e-signatures". Alex touched on financing plans & referred us to Debbie in billing for further billing assistance. Debbie, once again another fantastic staff member, was helpful with the "payment" portion. She made sure our account was set up with financing, had all the necessary paperwork ready to go when the "install time" came & scheduled the install date.
Today we met the install crew, John, JD & Pablo. Can't say enough good about these young men! They arrived right on time, introduced themselves, did a quick walk thru & confirmed all they would be doing. Through out the day we watched some great team work. Eack knew what to do, worked very professionally, all went smoothly. They were respectful of our home & us. After the install was complete they cleaned up ALL the debris along with the old system, loaded it in their truck to haul away. I felt they left us CLEANER then their arrival! Before leaving John, JD & Pablo went over the system, can't believe how quite it operates, discussed how to operate, filter replacement, manuals & rebates. I was told Penny would help with that. I'm sure she will be just as helpful & professional as Ken, Alex, Debbie, John, JD & Pablo!

Alex gave me a reasonable estimate and options to select from. He explained the pros and cons of each unit and helped me make my decision for our home without being pushy.

Wow! What an honest and fair price company. They did what they said, showed up when they said and never treated me like I was just a job! I deal with many contractors and this by far was the best experience! I strongly recommend this company!

Had a new ac and gas furnace installed. The 3 employees ( Philip Larry and JD) were top notch from start to finish. I would not hesitate to recommend Jacob Heating and Air Conditioning to anybody that asks
