I purchased a new HVAC unit through GP this summer after my old one had quit. I was happy with the initial service and install but obviously have up until now only had need for A/C. With this recent cold spell the temperature in our townhouse dropped to 67 so I set the thermostat to heat up to 72. It sounded like the heat had kicked in yet after an hour or so the temp had not changed. I contacted the answering service on the weekend to inform them and they told me it would cost $135 to send someone out to look at it and $135 per hour for labor. I expected, after spending over $5k for the unit that they would have wanted to make sure the unit/thermostat, and installation were working properly and under warranty, but she insisted that service was not covered. After some attempts to get the matter clarified, they continue to insist on the charges even though the unit is covered under a one year service agreement. Not only did they not stand behind their original products and work, but they treated me rudely and disrespectfully when I tried to call the original salesman to verify the circumstances and insist that they stand behind their work and product. He reprimanded me for calling him directly, and told me to call on Monday morning to arrange for a service call. Not only did he treat me like someone who was trying to get something for nothing when I called on Saturday, when I called again this morning and started to talk to the woman in the office, he interrupted my conversation with her, and rudely, told me they knew all about it and I'd have to pay the $95. service call fee for a weekday service call. I may need to pay the service fee to get my brand new unit working properly, but I would NEVER do business again with a company that treats their good customers with such a lack of appreciation. Good customers are easier to keep, than to find. Update: I was finally able to get the company to send someone to check it out. After a couple of hours they had replaced the heater. It was covered under the warranty but they still insisted on charging for the service call. When I spoke to the representative at Rheem, they indicated that when a unit is defective a service call charge is typically waived. Charlie, the HVAC manager hasn't responded to my request for the charge to be waived. I have never been treated badly by any of the other technicians I've dealt with at GP, but I could never recommend them after the way I was treated by Mr Costa. Notwithstanding anything in the following explanation, An extra $95 charge for "labor" when the heating unit never functioned properly to begin with should have been covered under the initial installation cost of the new unit. I paid a premium for the cost of the rooftop installation to begin with. Costs of "labor" to ensure a brand new unit is working properly should be simply part of the cost of the initial installation, in my opinion, and insults and rudeness when I expressed that opinion are out of line, (also my opinion).

Having GP and their annual maintenance agreement is always a great feeling to know our heating/cooling system is working properly. This past Nov. when we arrived from Mich. an appointment was set and to follow-up letting us know when the service tech would be arriving. We were contacted by the tech when he was in the area and when he would be at our condo.
Upon arrival the tech (Mark) did a fantastic job of pointing out what he was doing and some areas of the unit that should be repaired. He was professional in what he was doing and in appearance.
As always we have confidence in GP and their staff.

These guys are quick always answering the phones and getting techs out. I'm impressed with their honesty, appearance and professionalism. Ryan was very professional. He went above what I feel most service people do, he changed my batteries in thermostat, and offered to change the filters (they will be changed on Saturday) and answered all my questions. I feel he is a very good representative for G.P. Plumbing and deserves a KUDOS.

We had Ryan come out today. He was right on time, extremely efficient, and very friendly. Within minutes he was able to diagnose the issue, contacted our landlord, and in less than hour the problem was fixed! I would definitely recommend for quick and efficient service with great pricing!

They have installed an AC unit, water heater, filtration system and most recently changed all the floats, valves, and handles in all of our toilets. I could not be happier with the work. I own a home in Cape Coral and I had some questions regarding my Air Conditioning and Plumbing. I googled Air Conditioning and Plumbing Contractors. GP Plumbing and Air Conditioning came up in both my searches. Being from up north I am used to having to wait for service. I called and there techs came out the same day. There Ac tech took the time to go over my whole Ac system and he explained everything that he was doing. He explained to me that my system was Ok, and was only a few years old. He recommended a Preventative Maintenance Agreement, which was extremely reasonable in price. With this Maintenance agreement, they come out and check my system for no charge twice a year and if I need anything it is at a discounted price! I really loved the fact they took the time to explain everything to me. When the Plumbing tech arrived,I explained to him that my water bill was higher then usual. The tech checked all my toilets, faucets, water heater and outside service. He found two running toilets, which needed the insides replaced. He suggested that I flush my water heater, since this had never been done. My bill was extremely reasonable and I would recommend this company to everyone. Definitely a customer comes first company!!

We had Ryan from GP Plg and Htg out today to perform service on our air handler and condensor units. We couldn't be more pleased with the service and professionalism he displayed. Being new Florida homeowners we had many questions and concerns regarding tropical A/C systems. He answered each and every question with respect and a detailed explanation of things we needed to pay particular attention to.
We highly recommend GP for your service work, and, if you get Ryan as your service tech you won't be disappointed.
