I had originally given these guys a stellar review, but that has changed over the past 2 years. They did a good job with the original installation and their price seemed fair. The maintenance contract, however, has been horrendous. I was supposed to get 1 year maintenance included, every 6 months maintaining the unit. At a little over a year they hadn't been out here and my system plugged and stopped working. I called them and they wanted to charge me a bunch of money. I asked about the maintenance contract, and they said sorry, but there's no way we would have know if the line would have plugged even if they had performed maintenance. With a lot of talking and the owner belittling me, I got him to remove the charge but he made me purchase another year maintenance agreement even though they had not performed the maintenance when they should have. So they came out once around 6 months later, but only because I called them. Then again they came out one more time but with monitoring of the employee, I don't believe he did anything other than take the door off of the AC unit and sit in his van.

Today, I had to call another AC company to come and look at it because I've had enough with GP, and it's a mess. The inside of the air handler is flooded with water, insulation soaked, mold beginning to grow in there, needs $2,600 worth of labor to clean out. The guy said that the float valve was installed incorrectly (wiring) and the maintenance definitely had not been done on this because the float valve was filled with sludge. Even if it had been wired correctly, it would not have been able to shut off the unit with a clogged drain.

So I called GP today and they just argue saying they pulled a permit so I have no recourse. I am still under maintenance agreement, which is supposed to be every 6 months, but they haven't been out since March and in their estimation this is on me. So here I am. They were an A company on angieslist when I hired them. They've moved to B and I can see why. I would not recommend this organization

Warranty work done on our A/C was done in quick response to the issue, techs very knowledgeable, efficient. Had leaking drain pipe issue after initial warranty work done, they were very responsive to this issue and did a very nice job to fix that . They contact you for reminders of service maintenance,, in our busy lives it keeps us on track. Purchase a service contract so you feel confident that every thing will be taken care of in a timely manner. They are on our side. :)

Ryan from GP’s service dept came out and did thorough check up of our HVAC system. And took the time to educate me on the items that I should keep an eye on during the hot summer months. Would definitely recommend Ryan & GP Plumbing & AC to anyone in Cape Coral.

Can not give this company enough stars! First class from start to finish. My mother in law passed away and during that process our A/C unit quit working (90 degrees outside). We contacted this company and they sent out a tech the very same day. The tech was not able to fix our A/C and stated we were going to need a new one. They would not have it in till mid week but left us a portable A/C conditioner that was a LIFE SAVER! The price was thousands of dollars below our original quote we received last year from another service. Within 3 days, we had a new a/c installed and could not be happier with our decision. It is hard to find an honest company that stands by their word but GP Plumbing & Air Conditioning did just that! Thank you to their entire team!

Searched online for a local AC company to perform a Tune Up on our Unit and online after reading reviews and BBB profiles for multiple providers picked GP Plumbing and Air Conditioner. Completed a form online to request service and received a call back to schedule service within 2 hours. The day of the Service received a call in advance letting me know the tech was on their way. Tom arrived on time introduced himself, went through all the components was professional and thorough in the tune-up service. He identified the condenser coil had dead grass build-up causing poor air flow making the system run excessively. He carefully cleaned the coil, share tips for preventing future build-up and advised the system was in good shape for its age. No pushing to sell anything or recommend un-needed services. He explained their maintenance program which in my opinion is a great value. Called them a few days after with electrical questions on a new thermostat and they kindly answered everything very knowledgeably without having to call a tech out in the field.
If you need AC or Plumbing service in the Southwest Florida area, give GP a try. I'm sure they will provide the same great level of service I experienced.

Jasmine who answered the phone was very friendly and accommodating. She called back when she said she would which is much appreciated. The technician (nice guy from Maine) called 15 minutes before his arrival which was exactly when he said he would arrive. He was knowledgeable, helpful, efficient and friendly. I would highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs.

This company has always been so professional and helpful. They are thorough and they genuinely care! I had a preventative maintenance today and Ryan came out. Ryan was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to also address things that needed to be brought to my attention! Great company!

We have used GP PLUMBING & AC since moving to Naples 4 years ago. We have had only excellent,honest, timely and polite service.Today Sean came and did our 6 month service, and once again we are pleased that we have found such a reliable company. Thanks Sean, for helping us renew our service agreement! Bonus...The office staff is always friendly and calls with updates for arrival times.

Been using GP plumbing for several years ranging from new air conditioning unit to kitchen sink leak.
I have always been satisfied and never felt like they took advantage of the situation. Had a free maintenance check on my air conditioning unit today and the technician Ryan was very pleasant and professional.

I have been using GP Plumbing & Air for a year now and I am on their biannual maintenance plan. It's good to have a trustworthy company to rely on. Ryan with GP has been to my house the last two times and is always thorough and does a great job.
