This review is for C&C Heating and Cooling serving Fort Myers/Cape Coral. DO NOT use this company as they are NOT reliable and honest. They came out and found that the blower motor on the outside heat pump unit failed. I paid $300 and told them to order the motor. No word for several weeks. I called many times and they finally told me the motor would be ordered. Still no word and after several more attempts I was told the part was not available. After getting nowhere and no help, I called another company. They came out the next day and verified it was the motor. They order the new replace motor and got it installed and working 3 days later. The new motor was in stock at a local appliance distributor so I don’t know why C&C was lying to me. I never got back my money.

C&C was super responsive when I was 1200 miles from my Florida Home. I trusted them to repair my down air conditioner and they responded, they come in the next day after being contacted at 9 o’clock at night and did a thorough inspection, and found the problem and took care of me in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Fort Myers Naples area.

C&C Heating and Cooling replaced our central AC system in Mar 2022. While the system worked, we noted immediately that there was no filter supplied with the unit. More importantly, the part that holds the filter in place was also missing. We immediately brought this to C&C’s attention. Despite repeated promises, they have yet to complete the required repair. My wife, age 76, has severe breathing issues and we fear the lack of proper air filtration may be a serious health risk. 5 weeks age, 2 reps from C&c came to our home and confirmed the missing part. They promised repair within a week to 10 days. We have heard nothing since. They refuse to answer our phone calls or return messages. We are desperate. Please help.

I used this service based on the work they had done for me and friends at St Tropez condos. They came and troubleshot the problem and determined I needed new A/C equipment. This was close to $6000. I signed up for their periodic maintenance program and everything was fine. When stating the new unit up the drain was plugged and I wonder if that was the original problem the entire time. So their problem solving was questionable. The unit was old so replacement was going to happen in the future if not now so I let it go. I was told I had a full year warranty so any problem could be taken care of in the future. Part of the job was to remove the old unitI I waited two weeks and reminded them to pick it up, I was still beside my home when I returned. (and is still there). I returned to my home in January 2023 and realized the heat and a/c would not engage. I called C&C asked for someone to come out to see what was the cause of the problem . When I called I was told the the hurricane had then disrupted their schedule and the soonest they could respond was March. They suggested I call another provider.I have been force to find somebody that understands what customer service is or go without heat or A/c . This is what I get for trying to support a local business.
I do understand the increased work load from the hurricane but that does not excuse never removing the old unit April/May time frame. They literally told me to call somebody else and gave me no recommendation or help. I tried to be understanding and feel bad about how they treated me, via text message, but at some point you think they don't wan tor need your business anymore. If you expect customer service keep looking.
They know how to promise customer service they just don't know how to deliver.

Quick Write-up: Had a new Amana 16 Seer 4-ton HVAC system installed on 7/22/2019. Horrible experience. All they did was continuously put refrigerant in the unit over the next 2 years. They simply never actually fixed it and somehow ended up blaming me. My guess is they were waiting for the labor warranty to expire so they didn't have to replace the warranted parts.

New AC company located the leak in the coil and are ordering a replacement. No games, no gimmicks.

I wish I would have called them on day one and avoided C&C.

Need to say how very disappointing it was to deal with C&C yesterday after being a loyal customer for more than SEVEN YEARS. After purchasing a brand new A/C from them on their recommendation we have had nothing but problems with it. After waiting four days for a service call I was basically held hostage by the owner himself to pay UP FRONT in order for the serviceman to be allowed to put freon into the unit for the third time which should NOT be required on a new machine. They have now lost our business - this is no way to treat a loyal customer.

I am in the construction industry and deal with subcontractors on a daily basis. Being a construction manager at my current company I know the importance of the quality of work followed up by professionalism and managing expectations goes a long way with customers. Rarely do I have work done on my personal residence. Conan with C&C came highly recommend from a coworker. My air conditioner went out on a Thursday. Conan came out on Friday to assess the damage and gave me different ways we could resolve my broken unit. I decided to replace everything. He set an appointment for Monday and was 30 minutes early ready to work. Him and his crew were very professional, quick, informative and they quality is outstanding. I would recommend this company anytime. Usually people are more likely to fill out a review when they have a bad experience and you have to make twice the impression for someone to fill out a good one. Keep up the good work C&C!!!

Further to your recent reply to my recent review, please let me clarify a few things. Your serviceman tried calling you at least twice, to set up a new appointment for the next day to find this leak and carryover the labour and travel cost but you Mr. Conan said ABSOLUTELY NOT!! You wanted payment for that day before the freon could be put into the machine. I even tried calling to speak to you personally but you would not speak to me. The only “discount” you offered me was $25 OFF my Service Contract - not on finding the leak in the system. And by the way if you check your records there was a LEAK detected on March 6/20, less than 1 year after installation by your company of my NEW A/C. There was a leak test scheduled for March 9th between 2-4. I have no record of this ever being done. Had you taken the time to speak to me I could have explained ALL of this to you, but you chose not to. So now I choose to take my business elsewhere!

Fantastic experience. The actual owner of the company arrived and provided the original assessment. His crew arrived the same week to install our new AC system (interior and exterior units). As expected, everything continues to work perfectly. Recently we had a question regarding unusual amount of dust in our house (been doing that well before the new AC unit was installed) - The owner "Conan" (NOT a barbarian) showed back up, noticed and fixed some duct work for a very reasonable charge. Its great to know we have a reliable HVAC company we can call and get immediate attention. Highly recommend their service and team. Brenda in permitting really knows her stuff!

My 20 year old A/C died. Was in the process of getting quotes and happen to speak to my handyman. He recommended C&C, so glad he did. Called late in the afternoon, Conan came early the next morning to give me an estimate. He answered all my questions and gave me a quote. Set up installation, crew was on time and polite. They did the work, all areas clean and neat. AC installed 1 month ago, all is great. The best part was his price was 20-25% lower than 3 other bids. Would highly reccommend.
