Air Boca

I had a very positive experience with Air Boca. They showed up at night to fix my air conditioner and got the job done when I was in an unpleasant situation. Albert was my technician and his service was top notch. Highly recommended.

Responded quickly and performed work quickly. Unfortunately the warranty repair was expensive ($1k and $1.3k for freon) but worse was it didn't really work. AC unit didn't cool properly. Came back and said it was "too sunny and hot." This is FL and AC worked fine until compressor went. Asked me to wait and see if the system settled in. It didn't. Second visit adjusted blowers. Now have two hot rooms and other areas still inconsistent and AC running 22 of 24 hours per day. Final visit owner (Carlos) came out. Loud, rude and bossy claimed air handler was "too small" for the area to be cooled. If so why did you charge for repair if too small? Oh, because didn't know until it ran. But he claimed based on square footage which didn't change. Switched gears and said AC unit was too small. Wait, thought it was air handler. Now unit is too small. Well unit is fine and was good to spend the money. How? Still doesn't work. So points to manuals and tries to tell me to buy a whole new system for $10k+. Tells me need a big unit like the house next door - all without seeing the cooling setup. Did a repair, couldn't figure out why it didn't work and didn't care to.

They replaced one of our conditioners and they were on time and I was more than pleased. On top of that, they vacuumed all the mess and made this “ older” lady very happy. Definitely would recommend Air Boca.

I can reccomend Air Boca with no hesitation. They are professional, competant and operate with courtesy from the front office to the techs that came to my house. I want to give a special shout out to Jandis and Yohan. They were the techs that came to my house. They explained everything to me and then did the work in short order.

This was my first experience. My evaporator coil was freezing up. They came right out and put in a new one within 3 hrs. The best part is that the part was still under warranty so the cost was less than I was expecting. I will use Air Boca in the future.

Hi. Christopher came out on July 13. He was prompt, courteous, helpful, honest, & polite. It was also on my birthday. I had a good friend here from Delaware with her dog. Our air temperature upstairs was 86 degrees. Diane also helped me on 7/12 to get the appointment for someone to come out. Nothing like having company in your home & the air goes out in the summer. I was having difficulty with my previous HVAC company getting filters. After several weeks of phone tag, excuses, you name it, I asked a friend for the name of her company she used and it was Air Boca. I called on Friday, 11/5/21 at 1:30 pm, spoke with Diane about my situation and she had a service person at my home, same day, within 2 hours! This wasn’t even an emergency call! Tyler came and did a routine check up on my unit and cut filters to fit my unit. It was so easy! Don’t know why my prior company couldn’t make it happen.

They came out and even before looking at the issue pressured us to buy a new unit. Then the technician said that the only thing wrong was our blower. We paid $1945.00 for this service. 5 days later it wasn’t working. The owner was rude and was only concerned about us paying for them to come out again to check it???? Upon arrival they told us that we needed more Freon which they never mentioned before. However, we were out of town so we authorized our neighbor to let them add more Freon for an additional $400. Now 4 days later it’s still not working. We called yesterday, Friday, and we’re told someone would come out as we have small children and 4 rescue animals. No one came. Then upon calling 3 additional times and the owner said that no one would be coming today unless we paid a weekend fee. She then said we could call the BBB on them because they would dismiss it as they have been in business for many years. She then hung up on me when I pleaded for them to do the right thing! This company has nearly $2500 of our money and our air is still not working! They laughed at us when we said that as teachers it was difficult for us to take off during the week due to substitute shortages. This company is a NIGHTMARE!! Please do yourself a favor and call someone else! If I could rate them a negative 100, I would!! They are not only inept, they are completely unprofessional, and quite frankly scam artists!!

Air Boca are illegally installing units without pulling required permits for Palm Beach county.
This is a tactic to skim off more money for themselves and save on installation costs.

I gave Diane the opportunity to correct the wrong doing, but the owner came back with wanting an additional $350.

Out of the 2 units that I had Airboca install for 2 separate properties; I have had issues with both. I wouldn’t recommend this company, or ever use them again. I wouldn’t touch this company with a 10 foot barge pole, and would highly discouraged anybody from utilizing them, as they are dishonest and do terrible work.

I’ve been using Air Boca for maintenance for over nine years now. Last week I had purchased a new air conditioning split unit and nest thermostats on a Friday. The owner Carlos is very personable and fair in pricing. Within a few days I had five of his most professional competent technicians at my home doing the installation. They arrived ahead of there scheduled time and within five hours my unit was installed. My property was left clean and we are once again Happy Air Boca customers. Thank you Noel for your honest recommendation and pictures of what my old air conditioner was like in my attic. I also thank you for such a well organized installation. I highly recommend Air Boca to my friends and anyone else that asks! LM
