Before calling Air Boca I called 2 other highly rated companies in the area. They both said it would cost $4,500 to fix my outside unit, and $9,500 to $10,000 to replace the whole system. When Air Boca came out they were much more knowledgeable and helpful and they replaced the whole system for just $5,800! They made a lot of promises and kept them all. I cannot recommend these guys more highly. Don't hire someone else until you have these guys come out and look at the job. You may save a LOT of money!

Not sure about you, but it seems impossible to find quality service anymore… until now. We’ve owned our condo here in Boca Raton for about 18 years and have replaced just about everything at least once. I cringe every time I have to call a service company as it’s so hit or miss anymore, mostly miss.

Our HVAC has been limping a long for the last year or so after having various substandard companies come out and do maintenance, I finally decided to shop around for a new unit.

One of my calls was to Diane at Air Boca. We discussed our situation and she had her tech Yandis out that same afternoon to look at our needs and give us a quote on a new system. Yandis was very knowledgeable and was familiar with our community and other customers in our development. His quote was very reasonable, but turned out we needed to have some electrical work done to support the new unit. He said not to worry that they had a great electrician that could do the work for us. We signed the contract that night knowing that new AC units are hard to get these days.

Diane was a huge help and did all the leg work to find us a new unit in a very short time and within a week or so, we were getting the electrical done and having the new unit installed. The installers and electrician came at the same time, they were all super nice, knowledgeable, and worked together to get our unit install in about four hours. Diane coordinated the permits and scheduled our inspections and everything passed.

All in all this has been a great experience working with Air Boca and I am impressed with everyone I met with this company. Their quality of service and communication has been a breath of fresh (cold) air.

BIGGEST RIP OFF IN BCA RATON..Purchased an air conditioning system, and a Remy H air filtration system from them when it was still owned by the original company. Remy H system was under warranty at a cost of approximately $1000. System cease to work call Company and was told it would cost $95 to look at it $95 to get the new replacement and install. Agreed to these prices however they called me back and told me it would be $95 to look at it $95 to replace it and $250 to install it without the cell that was also supposed to be replaced.(AS TOLD BY THE MANUFACTURER) I strongly advise that you not deal with this company once very reliable, now, just another company that’s taking advantage and ripping customers off my word of advice stay away!!!!

Air Boca installed new complete A/C system at my house back in spring of 2004.
So when last week my old compressor died, I called Air Boca again, (Friday) they came the very SAME day, gave me a price, ordered new condenser and new evaporating coil SAME day, had it delivered to their warehouse on Monday and installed it on Tuesday !
That's fast service, they are very professional, cleaned up and removed old rusty equipment and gave me a 10 year warranty and free 1 year service !
If you need new A/C call them. You will not be disappointed !!!

I received three quotes, Air Boca was with most competitive. They performed the work diligently and did a quality job. Last time this AC was replaced it took a full day. Air Boca did it in 3 hours and improved the installation by added a better float switch and looking glass for the refrigerant. I highly recommend them!

I want to thank Yohan from Air Boca for his professionalism and honesty diagnosing and repairing my air conditioning at my rental property. I had been told by a competitor that I needed a new system even though mine was 4 years old. He quickly determined the problem and his office verified the replacement part was under manufacturers warranty. I just had to pay for a reasonable labor fee. I was so impressed with Air Boca that I had them install a new air conditioning system for my home a few days later. That install went great. Thank you Yohan and crew!

I have been a customer of Air Boca for four years and have spent thousands of dollars on their services. I will now be moving on to another company after my experience today.

I had an "issue" with my AC where I noticed it was running for at least a week straight without stopping. I called Air Boca and was explained the usual $95 fee for the visit. I agreed and set up the appointment.

The technician came out to my house. Within a few seconds, they realized that the fan switch on my thermostat had been inadvertently switched to "On" instead of "Auto". This was the reason the fan never stopped. The entire diagnosis and "resolution" from the technician took about five seconds.

For contrast, writing the paperwork took about three minutes.

I asked the technician if there could be any exception made for the $95 fee. There was no issue with my AC and no work was done outside of flipping a switch. He said he couldn't do that for me.

I paid the $95 fee with a credit card and was handed the receipt. The technician humorously said "easy call". I'm glad at least one of us found the situation funny.

I called Air Boca back about an hour later to see if there was any chance they could consider my loyalty to them over the years and make a one-time exception. Before I could even finish my thoughts, the employee (who I won't name out of respect) went on an aggressive 20-second long tirade about how their qualified technicians deserved to be paid and that I was told of the $95 fee for the visit.

I completely agree that people should be paid for their work. I also admit that I was told of the $95 fee. I never once and never will argue any of these points. However, there was never an issue with my AC. The only thing the technician did was flip a switch on my thermostat and charge me $95. I never attempted to take advantage of their qualifications or to undermine them in any way.

I do not believe good business should be this black or white. I believe customer loyalty should count for something and I wanted that to be considered.

These are all points I attempted to calmly, kindly bring up to the employee I spoke to. However, I never got the chance. They immediately went into a defensive, aggressive diatribe before I could even finish what I was saying. Their reaction was so bizarre and left-field that I was left momentarily shocked and speechless.

To their credit, the employee did apologize after I pointed out how strange and uncalled for their reaction was. They then explained to me that they had just gotten off the phone with another customer who was not as kind as I was.

We all have bad days. I get it. That still does not make any of this feel right.

My experience has left me to conclude that Air Boca would rather take my $95 now than to take my additional thousands for what would have been years to come. I find this nonsensical from both a business and ethical perspective, and I hope that one day they do too.

I hope the employee feels better.

Air Boca is tops. We flew down arriving at 10:30 pm. Air went on for 1 minute and shut down. Called Air Boca and Chris arrived with 20 minutes later! Fixed the problem (drain line clogged) within 10 minutes! A little expensive but expected because of the time and emergency. We now have the yearly maintenance plan which cost $219.99 yearly ($18.20/month). Wish we could find a company like this up north.! 5 STARS
