    Great service—answered the phone quickly and professionally—listened to my concern and arranged a service call for the same morning….service man was professional, knowledgeable and fixed my problem !

    I don't know what has happened to this company over the past few years, but it has gone downhill big time. The reason for this is due to their very poor customer service, lack of response and their attitude that they just don't care. They never get back to me timely. I had a service contract with them over the winter and my boiler stopped working. They couldn't figure out when they could come out even though I explained I had a service contract with them and a 3 year old and a 6 month old at home. Again, no urgency what so ever. I ended up calling a few other companies who were able to get over to my house very quickly. Edgerton finally called at the very end of the day.

    Another time I called to have my units serviced (again on contract) and they made the appointment. I took the day off of work to wait for them. No show. I called them and they told me the appointment was made for May. Why in the world would I have my heating units serviced in May!?? And then when they did reschedule, they couldnt make it and told me they only had a record to do some of the servicing, not everything that I mentioned on the phone.

    Again, I called about getting a quote to have a new AC unit and air handler installed.. .no call back.

    On a positive note, their service guys have always been very good. I will not lie about that. The problem is that their internal workings are just so bad and unreliable that I cannot use them anymore.

    EDIT - They did call me back at the end of the day to schedule someone to come to my house to give me a quote. The sales person came, was very polite and knowledgeable. We will see how the quote looks but this is on a good note.

    EDIT2 - So once again, typical Edgerton, I have not heard back from anyone after multiple emails and phone calls for 5 days now.

    EDIT3 - I found the reason that I had not heard back was because the rep was away on vacation. Since then, I have had Christina and Paul visit my home. They were great! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to help with my questions. I do enjoy working with them very much. Will keep updating as my process continues.

    EDIT4 - Back to the same old issues of not having a response. It has been 2 1/2 weeks and still no quote, and even longer since the first visit. Sent two emails last week, Monday and Thursday, nothing. Had to say that if i dont get a response early this week, I will be forced to go elsewhere.

    If you need help with your central air (or furnace), I would highly recommend Edgerton. Our AC Compressor went down this weekend and Edgerton got one of their Techs out to us very quickly. The guy was great, very knowledgable and efficient. He walked us through a few options to get us back up and running while being very open and conscious of the associated costs. Our house was cool again by the time he left on Saturday (and the repair cost was very reasonable). I did not have a regular service plan for our unit, but I will be using Edgerton for that going forward. (I know we all complain when we get bad service, this company did a great job for us and I felt that kudos were due)

    I reached out to Edgerton with concerns regarding my heat and the overall maintenance of my HVAC system. The team was friendly and responsive! My tech showed up promptly with his projected time frame and I even received a courtesy call that he was on his way! Anel was professional and courteous and respectfully wore his face covering at all times during the visit. He was patient with me, explaining exactly what type of filter my system needed, when and how to properly replace it myself and even where to order more! He was thorough, double checking all equipment inside and outside of our home. I highly recommend Anel and the Edgerton team for all of your HVAC needs!

    Horrible experience DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME!!!!!
    Called them on a Saturday morning because I have a tenant that lives within 2 miles of their headquarters with no Airconditioning. The woman on the phone was nice, took all my information including the service location and my credit card #. She told me they would have a technician call me within an hour to give me and eta. She also explained the charges which were high but it was an emergency call on a Saturday and I was ok with the $$. Two hours later the tech calls and I am informed that he can not do the service because they do not do emergency service for non-regular customers. Obviously the first woman I spoke with should have told me this. Thanks, Edgerton, for wasting my time!!!! By the way Tyler Heating & Air Conditioning arrived within an hour of calling them and for less $$$

    It's nice that some other people out there have had positive experiences with these folks but I have not. I was renting an apartment and the tenant called them to fix the AC. I was surprised at how high the bill was and was somewhat concerned that as an absentee landlord perhaps they felt they could charge what they wanted and I wouldn't know any better. Less than eight months later, after barely a month's use the preceding season, the AC again failed to function. I left a message with their answering service over the weekend and it was not returned. It took several phone calls to get the appointment set up because they were not very responsive and appeared to have lose track of my request. The serviceman who eventually did show up seemed lackadaisical and disinterested but after poking around for a few minutes announced that a major part was going to need replacing. I asked him several questions and he was not in the slightest bit helpful if not downright evasive. I requested an estimate of what the work would cost before I would make an appointment for the work to be done. Guess what? They never sent me said estimate. Apparently the thought of being open and honest about how much a job was going to cost was too much for them to handle. However, they did send me a sizeable bill for the "diagnosis" that I had no confidence in whatsoever. I am sorry my tenant called these people the first time and sorrier that I went back to them now. I am taking my business elsewhere and I suggest you do the same.

    As always, the Edgerton group was quick to respond to our queries about heating and cooling options and the techs were professional and courteous. The work they did was meticulous and completed as promised. We are extremely happy with the our new systems and appreciate the professionalism everyone at Edgerton embodies.

    The Edgerton technician was extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He thoroughly inspected the system and made recommendations. I didn't feel like he was trying to sell me anything I didn't need.
