Edgerton is definitely one of (if not the the) best HVAC repair and maintenance companies in all of Fairfield county. Their techs are honest and very knowledgeable - both of which are paramount to most people.

Unfortunately, they are also the most expensive…by far. In fairness, we don’t have a maintenance contract (solely due to the cost and that we have three furnaces).

However, as a repeat customer of almost ten years, we were recently disappointed by having to pay $400 to replace a $10 part that we got ourselves, This is because they have 1hr minimums (even if 2 visits are done same day for a total of 1 hr) on top of a single trip charge.

Regardless, we’ll continue to use them unless / until we can find someone more reasonable that we can trust as much.

Alexa worked inside (ours is a rooftop unit in Heritage Village) & was very friendly but professional. Fortunately, everything checked out in good shape but because of age (15 yrs) she helpfully suggested we might like to begin research & get quotes on the cost of replacement so that we weren’t forced into an emergency situation (we did this last year) but we were very appreciative of her advice in the event we hadn’t. Have had a maintenance contract with Edgerton for 10 years & very happy with service when needed.

Anel was great! I had a warranty claim on a Navien unit. The company who installed the unit wouldn't even take the time to work with Navien, and quoted me a cost to repair greater than the cost of a whole new tankless install. Luckily I found Edgerton who quickly got the job done for a part that was under warranty. I'll be using Edgerton for all my future HVAC/plumbing needs!

Edgerton has serviced my equipment for many years. They have responded to emergencies quickly, kept me up to date with annual service, and been very much on top of tweeks and additions I have needed for my equipment. The office staff is always very knowledgeable. And the service people who come to my home have always been very patient in explaining what they are doing-as I always try to understand how things work and what the problems are. I recommend this company highly.

Had my heating, AC unit, and water heater replaced. It was a massive job. They did fantastic work. Everyone from sales to the technicians were professional and responsive. They also offered the best value. I know this because I solicited 7 quotes before landing with Edgerton. Would recommend them to anyone.

My AC went out and I need a whole new replacement system. I was told they couldn't even bother to come out and discuss it until July 18th, THREE WEEKS later. They must not need new business. EDIT They made an appointment with me sooner.

I had my annual AC Maintenance from Edgerton Inc of Monroe CT. The service was performed by Alexis W. who did an outstanding job of performing the services. Not only did she seem to know exactly what she was doing but took the time to explain things to me after she was finished. I could not have been more pleased and Edgerton has been servicing this unit since it was installed, almost 20 years ago.
