Literally the worst company I have ever dealt with. Service representative said $1 an hour for the service and $100 to stop by. I thought, "$200 is pretty reasonable", so I hired them. I even confirmed the price with the technician when he arrived, but you can't trust anyone these days I guess. Turns out this company is full of liars. These grifters charged me almost $400 for a 30 min service, then told me it's a flat rate and there is nothing they can do. If it was a flat rate, I would have obviously not paid $400 for this garbage service, where they literally made me wash my own filter in the sink. Also, who takes two weeks to do an invoice for a 30 minute service? Bottom line, they are liars and scammers, DO NOT USE THIS SCUMBAG COMPANY.

I wish I had checked the reviews before I hired this company to make any repairs. Like others have said, they completely ripped me off on costs, doubling-tripling the estimate when I received the actual bill. They also told me they are "not a consumer company, they are for commercial clients," so if you are a homeowner, look elsewhere!
They charged me for two techs, doubling the hourly cost even though on the phone they will only tell you a single hourly rate.
They even charged me for two site visit fees- claiming the techs came in seperate vans, even though again, I had been told it was the one fee.
Also, only one tech did the work. The other was an apprentice who just watched.
They also sold me a motor for $650 after I had been told it would be $3-400. (Cost for the motor is ~$250 retail.
It took A Year to get anyone to respond to my inquiry about why my bill was literally triple my estimate. They even charge a fee if you pay by credit card.
Awful company. Look elsewhere for your HVAC work.

*Attention* If you are looking for a company that is not helpful over the phone, arrives at your place 30 minutes late and then uses 45 minutes of the billable time on the phone with someone else, charges $100 for 1 hour drive time one way even if they are 10 minutes away, and then charges you $300 for a piece of $80 equipment, then definitely use this company. Otherwise forget you ever came across Choice Mechanical, and hire anyone else on earth. Also, don’t try to dispute any charges pertaining to hours that they didn’t work, they will not listen or care.

This company is amazing, I first used choice 13 years ago, when I worked on apartments, they would always show up when they said they would and get things going quickly day or night, 13 years later I had a friend who had a bad contractor come out and try to scam her into a new boiler and removed parts of the wiring. I had Choice come out to help and had her up and running in a couple hours and saved her thousands. Pat and Mike are amazing and professional!!! and Choice is the only HVAC company I call now. I can trust them, and that's something I can rarely say now days!!!!

I had Choice replace two shutoff valves under a bathroom sink, very simple work and they did a great job, showed up on time and was in and out very quickly. But I was estimated "about $200" for the work which I thought was very high for the work but I wanted the liability protection. And then got a bill for $315 or "about 58%" more than what I was quoted. I talked to their accounting department and they wouldn't budge, I felt very deceived and will never use them again out of principle.

My neighbor called Choice Mechanical because she had a leak in her apartment. They went straight to her unit to try to locate the source, made a hole in the ceiling, didn't find anything. They never cared to call the upper unit owner (me). My bill included that visit, the one to my unit a couple days later (they finally called me), and an overpriced reparation kit. A total bill of $532 for stopping a leak from a heat radiator. When I contacted them to dispute the bill I never got directed to the manager. I was told they are "busy people".
I'm finally paying the bill just to avoid the nuisance of dealing with them.

Choice Mechanical is a fantastic HVAC company. As the summer heat came rolling in, we noticed our AC wasn’t working. I called Choice and they scheduled me in and sent over Mike to come and take a look at the system.

Within an hour of arriving, Mike fixed our system and had it up and running with cold air. We have a special air conditioning unit called a Magic Pak, and after working with 3 other companies prior to Choice, Choice were the only ones who could fix the issue.

Their prices are extremely fair and competitive. I highly recommend working with Choice Mechanical.

I called just to get a rough estimate/quote to speak with a mechanic to see how much it would be to possibly do work on my fan in my condo Unit. And the lady who picked up would not put me through to a mechanic unless I would pay to have some one come out. All 3 other companies were able to give me a quote. Pretty bad service/ business don’t even waste your time with them.

They replaced the boilers in my building of my condo complex. The heater boiler had a defective pump that went out on an extremely cold night in October 2018, and their tech spent several hours finding a new pump and replacing it! Then the power went out in my complex on 3/13/19, and the boiler didn't comeback on (because the power went out in the middle of a burn cycle and messed it up). Their tech came out at 9 PM, and got it reset, and running fast! I highly recommend this company as they stand behind their work!

Returning my service call, Jason was able to troubleshoot the problem and walk me through the fix (batteries in the thermostat - you don't know what you don't know). Personable, professional and patient - the trifecta of good service!
