Do Not Use This Company! After 4 days & $455, it turns out their diagnosis of what was wrong with our dryer, was wrong. The Owner of the company made the incorrect diagnosis. So it’s either wait another 2 weeks, and pay more money for more parts that may not fix it, or buy a new dryer. So guess who had to buy a new dryer? On top of that, they offered NO compensation! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.
FRAUD!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We hired Horizon Appliance & HVAC in Henderson, NV on March 13, 2021 to repair our Samsung dryer. Repairman, Jesse, diagnosed problem, collected $544 and left the disassembled dryer saying he'd be back in a week when parts came in. I called after a week of no show only to find that Jesse quit the company. He gave me owner, Travis' number in Colorado. Travis apologized and said he would fly out to repair in a week. Travis failed to show, and is no longer receiving my calls. The Better Business Bureau hasn't had any more luck getting a hold of the company. Now I see on the Horizon Appliance & HVAC website in Henderson that it is "Temporarily Closed". I will continue to contact various agencies in an effort to not only retrieve my money but also to put a STOP TO TRAVIS and HORIZON APPLIANCE & HVAC from RIPPING others OFF!!!
Just had a technician from Horizon come by to look at our fridge, great company and service, Very polite and professional!! I highly recommend them for appliance repair and would defiantly use again!
Service tech was friendly. Service was fast and the issue with my dishwasher was accurately diagnosed. But this is just another one of these gigantic companies that's flooding the market with wildly overpriced service.
It's gotten so difficult to just find an honest local appliance repair technician. These big companies focus all of their resources on search engine optimization, and then your only option is to overpay them by hundreds of dollars.
You will get friendly, prompt, accurate service from this company - I do believe that. It will also be very overpriced. If you don't mind paying an absolutely unfair amount for your repair, this company is a great option (I'm not being snarky - they really are).
Travis is a crook. He stole $877. out of my bank account. He came to my home to diagnose a warm fridge, quoted us $877. to replace the compressor. a month ago We called him a few hours later to let him know not to proceed and that we had purchased a new fridge instead. 3 days later he charged my card for the full amount. I managed to get him to answer his phone once in the past 30 days. He promised to pay me back but still hasn't and continues to avoid me for another 2 weeks. I also paid $70 for the service call which I am not disputing even though he showed up 2 days late for the appointment. I never post negative reviews but I'm hoping this will get your attention, Travis. Westminster Police said I would have to meet an officer at Travis's address 9820 Westcliffe Ave. Unit 1928 to file a report as they are keeping the police dept closed to the public due to covid, etc.
I messaged Horizon on a Friday night and Travis was at my house the next morning and fixed our AC unit in an hour. Which was great considering it's going to be almost 100 degrees this weekend. Highly recommend Horizon!!
Travis was on time and fortunately, found the problem with our washer within minutes! He quickly fixed it and was in and out of our home in under half an hour. I will definitely reach out to Horizon first if we have problems with our appliances in the future!
