Initial response was quick and reasonable...had other issues pop up and tech was a little perplexed...a few communication breakdowns, bit ultimately Travis came through with knowledge and understanding. Went above and beyond to make final repairs and works good as new.

Shout out to Travis and Horizon Appliance! We called over the Thanksgiving weekend needing our furnace repair asap--doesn't everyone in the winter? Horizon was not the first company I called, they were however the most responsive, rationally priced, knowledgeable about our older furnace, and informed about what parts were needed and realistic about when we would get the parts in. And they didn't try to upsell us, just listened to me attempting to descibe the problem on the phone, took a look at the furance, gave me a quote and a timeline on which they followed through. I was comfortable having Travis in my house, my dogs treated him as a fun guest, and I trust their judgment on who is allowed in.

Travis fixed our furnace promptly with the minimum of fuss--it was simply easy to use Horizon. I will be using Horizon for any HVAC or appliance needs I have in the future.

Cleared a plug in our refrigerator drain. We woke up to water on Monday & requested through Angi. Travis was at the house Tuesday at noon. He was finished up in about 1 hr. It was expensive but done promptly & with little hassle.

This was an ice maker diagnosis and replacement. Everyone associated with this job was extremely professional, knowledgeable, prompt and kind! I’ll definitely be calling them for other work! They granted me my Christmas miracle 😁

i had difficulty in accessing their main line number for a week nonody returned my call. but i would recommend the technician robert who did the work

Robert replaced a water valve and hose on dishwasher, diagnostic done by Thomas, would use this business again

Refrigerator repair, was complex and it took a while but they worked to resolve the issue until they achieved success. Very professional and good to work with.

Travis was exceptional! He found the problem immediately. He was Friendly and very professional.

We went with Horizon Appliance for a refrigerator repair because they could get us in quickly and learned that might have been because they don’t do good business. It took them 2 weeks, 3 parts orders, and 4 visits to our house and they still had not fixed our refrigerator. Travis finally confessed that they didn’t know what was wrong and wouldn’t charge us because they didn’t fix the problem, but charged our credit card $1700 anyway. When questioned, they told us repeatedly that they had refunded our money, but never did. After several weeks of blatant lies we were forced to file a dispute with our credit card. During this whole time they would only answer their (office & cell) phones when we called from numbers they didn’t know were ours. We had many problems on many levels with Horizon Appliance and ultimately found them to be inexperienced and dishonest. We should have taken some of the reviews here more seriously, we are apparently not the only ones that have had this kind of experience with them.

Edit: Now that I’m reading Horizon’s reviews more closely many of their replies to customer reviews are simply to cover themselves or to put the responsibility back on the client. After my experience with them, this doesn’t come as a surprise to me. Buyer beware.

I had good luck with this company at first fixing my refrigerator. The second two times they came they left a huge mess behind with garbage and pieces of stuff from the ceiling. One of the workers also cut themselves, and there was blood in the bathroom and on my shower curtain. Also, every time they came something else went wrong. My hatch to the ceiling is broken off and has yet to be repaired because they did not show up when they were supposed to fix it. It says below that I asked if they could fix it. That is not the case they said they would fix it and I held money back until it was done. The system is still not working correctly, and I am going to use someone else. They were professional until things did not go well. I was bummed because I liked it at first; now there is no trust.
