Eric is very professional, patient, and friendly. He showed up on time. He came in and right away put covers on his feet. He was super nice to my son and to my dog. He even remembered that the last time he was here, he had met my Husband. He was very confident and comfortable doing his job. After he had checked everything out, he explained to me how my AC was functioning and what it needed. He told me the price that it would be and when I approved, he did the work (we were a little low on refrigerant). When he was done, he checked how the unit was functioning after the refrigerant was put in and there was the expected improvement. I paid the invoice and then he was finished. He confirmed to me that Sensible Heating and Cooling is a small, local, business. We love to support small business'. If you need HVAC anything, I would HIGHLY recommend this small, local, business. They have reasonably priced packages that include discounts on regular maintenance and repairs. The office manager is very friendly and accommodating.

We have used this company for a couple of years now. The first time was during a heat wave the first Covid summer. Our AC wasn't keeping up and we were out of town for an extended time for a large surgery. Our house-sitter was roasting. They came the next day and found the problem. I honestly can't remember what it was, but it was some little part that was super easy to fix and they happened to have one with them. He replaced it and didn't charge us. It was such a huge blessing to us. This is one of the many reasons we prefer and like to support small business'. It's those little things. We were planning on paying (and we were actually expecting a large bill), and then, out of the kindness of his heart, he fixed it right quick. It's that old fashioned goodness that is so refreshing and so needed. It was a stressful time in our lives and that neighborly gesture meant so much. I have tears in my eyes right now remembering what it meant to us.

We hadn't been in our new house long when the air conditioner conked out on the hottest day of summer. The company we called to repair it recommended we look at replacing it if the repair didn't last, and casually mentioned a ballpark cost. Off he went but we never heard back from their sales office or anyone. A contractor we trust and use for everything referred us to Sensible, and we ended up getting a great new unit. It was kind of expensive but Phil took his time and was at our house twice to take careful measurements and recommend the right size machine for our space and layout. The old machine didn't cool the upstairs well so Phil addressed that and explained how technology has changed since our old unit was put in, especially in efficiency in how they run. Install was on time, professional and courteous! Erika even coordinated the required inspection, super easy for us! We're happy with the experience and would recommend Sensible to anyone who needs a new AC...Plus it runs a lot quieter, bonus!

Our home furnace from 1979 failed on us this winter. We were grateful to M and M for quickly scheduling and assessing a replacement for the furnace and a new hot water heater. They ordered the necessary equipment and were able to install the new systems within the week. Cody and David worked diligently over the course of two full days to install the system, thoroughly. They were also able to replace a frozen pipe that had burst. Joe was also kind and helpful when transporting new and old equipment to and from our home. Their efficiency and attention to detail brought warmth back to our home, and likely prevented further damage from the cold. We are grateful for their service. The total service cost amounted to approximately $15,400, which included a hydronic gas boiler system, zone valve head, zone control panel, variable circulator pump and 50 gallon hot water heater.

I've used Sensible Heating and Cooling for several years now, including installation of our evaporative cooler. I have a service plan that includes yearly start-up and shut-down of the cooler, furnace inspection and maintenance, and water heater inspection. Service is usually done by either Aaron or Eric. Both are knowledgeable, efficient, respectful of property, and never try to sell us something we don't need. This is a well-run company that I highly recommend for maintenance and new installations.
