Applewood is a very professional organization and their reputation precedes them!
Not only was their dispatch organization easy to deal with and very communicative, their service technician. Daniel was very professional and considerate of my time and my home! The service was completed as agreed to and Daniel even made sure that I didn't pay unnecessary fees for things that I could do myself. I really appreciate the honesty and partnership that this experience felt like. I highly recommended Applewood and will use them again.

I asked Applewood to come over and figure out why some lights and outlets had suddenly stopped working in my house. Jake gave me an estimate of $1,323. I trusted Jake's assessment that it was a much bigger job than I realized. I had to pay in full before he would start. The problem turned out to be a loose wire nut. Granted, Jake went above and beyond what was necessary to correct the problem, checking the connections and wire nuts in 12 switch, outlet and junction boxes in the house and attic. But $1,323 is a gross overcharge for three hours of routine electrical work in my opinion. I asked Applewood to adjust the charge given the massive difference between what they told me the job would be vs what it actually was. So far they have refused to acknowledge this, although I'm waiting for a call back from a manager on the matter and I will update this review with that outcome. 2/13/2023 UPDATE: Someone from Applewood called me to double down on the ridiculous assertion that $1,323 is a good price for the work Jake did. These people are dishonest and predatory.

Sean Maggard was one of the most professional, compassionate, and trustworthy technicians I have ever experienced. I have a broken leg, and my furnace went out. He went above and beyond to keep the cost as low as he can, but reiterated to get my furnace back working certain things needed to be done. I will be requesting him specifically in the Denver area moving forward. His knowledge, ability to explain technical information to a lay person, and his ability to start from the most cost effective way to making the furnace worked has a customer for life now. I won't use anyone else. The follow up call was a cherry on top. Sean is a true professional and I am hopeful he will be able to help you too. Thank you Sean Maggard, you are a true professional and deserve thanks for keeping people warm during winter.

Be careful. Ask for pricing before you commit to the $29.00 estimate fee. I received a quote for $2,469.00 (standard price) to replace a sump pump. I declined the price and googled plumbing companies, the next one I called quoted $585.00 and they will replace my sump pump in four days. The quote I received from Applewood is crazy, compared to industry standard pricing. However, after talking with them, they are refunding my $29.00 estimate fee. I do appreciate that.

Applewood is amazing! They came out to my condo for a routine electrical inspection and found some major issues in my circuit breaker panel that could've caused some safety issues. Britton was very thorough with his inspection and worked hard to schedule and order all the necessary parts to fix the issue and get my electrical panel upgraded. Excellent customer service and communication every step of the way. Another excellent service call from Applewood!

I have been using Applewood Plumbing for several years to turn on and off my swamp cooler. They were higher priced but dependable. Last fall they came out and closed the swamp cooler and nothing else was said. This spring they turned on my cooler and then I was told that it was leaking and I need to get a new one. They charged me twice as much than last fall as well as a quote for a new cooler installed. 10,000 dollars plus 3,000 dollars for a designated electric unit. Quote is good for 30 days or the quote may go up! What a way to treat a regular customer who is a senior. If Applewood continues to give quotes like this they will price themselves out of business

Josh did a great job of diagnosing my AC issue and getting it back up and running quickly. He also gave me some helpful pointers on keep my HVAC system running smoothly. Highly recommend.

Damien is an excellent representative of Applewood. He's professional, very knowledgeable, kind and a hard worker. This is a repeat call for an annual service of our house heater and we could not be more satisfied with his service. We will not have to worry about a breakdown in the coming Winter Season. What a good feeling!

My plumbing issue wasn't an easy one and will take a couple of days to complete. Excellent customer service but twice the money as the competitors doing the same job and when you are talking $20K plus that's a huge difference in my budget.

Josh Z. at Applewood was fantastic - he was on time, courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and respectful. He knows what he's doing and put a lot of effort into helping us with our electrical challenges. In addition to being amazing at his job, he was responsive with some additional requests I had. Our home has some unique situations present and Josh was very accommodating, understanding, and above all else respectful. Having service professionals in our home can be challenging for some, but when folks like Josh are helping we all feel safe and I appreciate that about him! The job was well done and I'm grateful to be back up and running.
