My wife and I bought our new home last year and was not receiving proper air flow in the front guest bed room that was always freezing during the winter time around 10 – 15 degrees difference. Our 1 year warranty was about to expire and a service call was scheduled.

Technician David H. from Smith & Willis was dispatched and arrived during the appointment time scheduled and listen to us about the issue that we have been asking about for nearly a year why is that room colder than any other part of the home. This is when he went above and beyond to resolve the issue to get air flow moving thru the vents rather it was heat or air conditioning keeping in mind it was extremely hot inside the attic when checking the amount of installation for the room… the point is everything is working thanks to him knowing what he needed to do and resolved an ongoing issue that was not going to get any better.

Thank you David H. from Smith & Willis

David came and full filled a warranty issue on our new build A/C. He was efficient, friendly, had a sense of humor and took care of scheduling a follow up appointment too. We appreciated that!

As referred to by friends, my brother in law requested services from Smith & Willis to come out and assess the problems with his furnace. Jimmie arrived promptly and we were greeted with a friendly smile. Jimmie took the time to evaluate and troubleshoot the problem, and discovered that the furnace had a bad high limit switch. In addition, he cleaned the filter, the evaporation coil and reduced the gas pressure. What a relief it was to hear that, that was all that it needed. He also reported no gas leaks or carbon monoxide leaks. You see, we had a prior service appointment with PRECISION AIR, who after only a few minutes, reported gas leaks and carbon monoxide leaks (but provided no evidence of this) and then we were told we needed a whole new heating system, and we received quotes of $3500-$7100. I really appreciate the integrity and honesty that Smith & Willis stand by. I am proud to write this on behalf of my brother in law. How dare any company take advantage of people, shame on you PRECISION AIR, especially since my brother in law is battling cancer and every dollar counts right now as well as reducing any stress in his life. Much gratitude to you, Jimmy Holton, and may the Lord bless you in return for upholding God's standards not only in your personal life but in the work place as well. We feel so much better now knowing that our home is safe and warm as we go through this difficult time together. God Bless You.

Monte, the Technician, was extremely thorough in his inspection of our heating system. He pointed out issues that needed to be addressed and then fixed them. He was quite personable.

Had a malfunctioning A/C system on a new build home. David came out and was the consummate professional. He showed up early, had all the equipment needed. David conducted a few tests and within 15 minutes had diagnosed the issue and had the system up an running. You'll need to clone this guy! What a great experience! Thanks David!!

The company that originally installed my Trane heating and air conditioning system went out of business. A few years ago I looked at the Trane web site for an authorized dealer. Found Smith & Willis. Had a technician (who has since left their company) come out and go through the whole system, cleaning, inspecting. Expensive (around $900) but he did a great job. Had hail damage a couple of weeks ago and the top of my outdoor heat pump was damaged. Homeowners insurance will pay. Called Smith & Willis and found out that they no longer service HVAC systems. Apparently they found it more lucrative to just do new installations, no maintenance and repairs. I feel abandoned!! Need to now start over at the Trane web site. Not happy!

We have a brand new home from DR Horton and they installed our 2 air conditioners. We moved into the home in Dec and when we 1st turned on the air conditioner that 1st summer the upstairs air conditioner was not working we put in a repair request due to our home still being under warranty they just added some more coolant. Now 2 years later we find out that the coil is defective and was from install. They refused to even come and look at it. $2,000 to replace the coil on a 2 year old home, when most air conditioner have a 10 year warranty. Do not use this company or buy a home from D.R Horton a complete money pit.

David H. was very thorough at testing my air flow. He set up each vent for optimal air flow, explained my system to me, and gave me some excellent advice. I am very thankful to have had him in my home today. I will definitely request him as my tech in the future.

This 5 star review is for Jim! I have a new build (the builder is TERRIBLE and did a horrible job on the ventilation and duct work) and Jim has come over several times. He's professional and always helps me solve whatever random issue I'm having, which has been a lot with this new house and things not being done properly. He's able to troubleshoot and identify the issue quickly and effectively! Thanks Jim! You're awesome!!

We purchased a large house with a 6 Zone AC system in the Columbine area of Littleton. Our air conditioner went out and not knowing anyone else, I ended up contacting Smith & Willis.

They came out and replaced the existing unit with a new air conditioner and for months afterward we had nothing but problems with lack of ability to cool our house and frequent freeze ups. After multiple visits and issues, I ended up contacting a couple other AC businesses and inquiring about the problems. I was told repeatedly that anyone in the AC business should know that you never should install a single stage AC unit with a multiple zone system. They said you should always have a two stage unit.

Luckily I had purchased our system on an American Express Gold Card. At this point, I called and reversed the charge with Amex. Over the next 8 months, this got Smith & Willis's attention and eventually they came back out and replaced the unit with a 2 stage Bryant AC unit. At this point, I paid them (approx $7000 in total) and had no issues for the next 14 months.

This past week, the Bryant two stage AC unit (which was supposedly new) has failed and I contacted Smith & Willis's service department on Thursday. The lady answering tells me they are booked and can't send anyone out till the following Thursday. I ask for a manager and she tells me it won't matter who I talk to, everyone is booked right now. I promptly hang up and contact Littleton Heating and Air who comes out same day.

They first tell me that the unit has been installed far too close to our house on two sides for adequate ventilation and consequently has gotten plugged up with debris. Next, they diagnose that the unit went into thermal lockout due to over exertion of the fan motor because of improper installation and ultimately this led to the fan going out on a 1 year old unit. Lttn HVAC said they could order a new fan motor and have it in this coming Monday. Of course the fan motor itself is warrantied by Bryant, but Lttn HVAC's labor charges are not. I decided to go ahead with Lttn HVAC even though labor was supposed to be covered by Smith & Willis for 3 years.

Be forewarned - Smith & Willis is incompetent for anything but cheap new construction jobs and it will cost you in the long run if you use them. The repair man from Lttn HVAC even told me he'd heard rumors they were installing refurbished equipment on jobs that were being advertised and sold as new.
