Comfort By Design identified the issue when multiple others did not. This is a company of character that does the right thing and does not sell you something that you don't need. Very impressed with Comfort By Design!

We had a HVAC issue with our new-build home not cooling or heating properly on the coldest and hottest days. We determined to get some quotes (five) on how to correct the issue from multiple contractors, the last of which was Comfort by Design who we had met at a home show. John (co-owner of the company) came out personally to do a complimentary quote, looked at every component of our setup, and then did some research into the design. Comfort By Design identified that our system (blower) had not been installed in accordance with the permitted design documents and gave me recommendations on how to proceed with our builder and set up a follow up call closer to the summer to connect with us; all four other contractors gave various quotes to replace different pieces of the system, not one of them identifying the real issue.

Wonderful experience! Finally decided to install AC after 24 years...so many companies to choose from but decided on Comfort by Design & so glad I did. After spending over an hour explaining what needed to be done on our older home, John Pace was extremely well versed & knows his business! Technicians Mike, Jon & Brian were extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous & pleasant! Each of them worked very hard & installed our new AC flawlessly. We had an excellent experience with Comfort By Design. The quote was done in person by Scott Bryant, one of the owners and it was fairly quick, cordial and priced reasonably well. Installation of the mini-split A/C unit was scheduled within two days notice after the quote and it took less than a day to make the installation. Both John and Mike were very cordial, professional and did the installation with seemingly complete ease…I am very satisfied. In a couple of weeks I’ll make another review as to the effectiveness of the mini split A/C unit that was installed since the weather is not very hot yet where we live. I would highly recommend Comfort by Design for any HVAC needs.

Had a slight urgent issue with our evaporator not draining properly down in the finish basement where the HVAC system was installed last year May 2019. As a result we had water leaking down in the furnace, the filter was totally wet, and the water was running out on the floor and started getting the carpet wet just outside the furnace room. I called Comfort by Design around 11:45 am. They told me they would have a tech there at 1:30pm. Well, they where really responsive because their tech David Kint showed up by 12:35pm and was on the job. David resolved the issue and even showed my wife on how she can probably check and clean the condensation line in the future and how often for proper maintenance. David Kint get's a 5 STAR Review for his courtesy, professionalism, and going beyond the call of duty. Comfort by Design get's a 5 STAR review because they have kept up their word in what I expect in regards to expected customer service of what they promised me back in May 2021 when I bought the new HVAC system. Sam came out to diagnose our air conditioning. He was very friendly and personable. He explained everything and got the electrician set up quickly so we could safely move forward in the work that needed to be done.

Was my 2nd consult on a furnace repair or replacement. Provided a most efficient system plus humidifier at half the cost of a similar system from another company! Scheduled 2 days for install, but the team completed it in one day. Mike and Brian were professional, efficient and friendly. The office staff was fast and responsive to my questions.
