Since my original post, the company did take notice and contact me to address my concerns. I'll give them credit for that. It's a shame the process worked out like it did, but at least they're listening.

On their website, Cooper claims to be a company that values being "accurate with expectations and deliver what is promised". I'm sad to say they miss the mark in a major way.
We've spent probably $40K with Cooper on three big HVAC projects. On the most recent a/c project, their sales person provided us an estimate that listed three separate rebates for a total of $2500. However, when the project was complete, we only received $2000 in rebates. When I asked the sales person about this, he acknowledged this was his miscommunication, but would not honor the additional $500. I even have an email exchange between us where I ask him to verify all three of those rebates will happen, and he wrote me back to confirm we'd "receive the incentives".
To have them NOT value us as customers or the expectations they clearly set is just sad. I go into every working relationship like this trusting that the person on the other side is trustworthy and dependable. The sales person even acknowledged that this was his miscommunication and the company still won't fulfill the expectations they created.

This was my first time using Cooper. From the initial call to the service it was a great experience. I would like to note David Baker is an amazing, professional, on-time service tech. I was prepared for a large cost. David spent a minute assessing the situation and identified the root cause, which was a simple fix. David answered all my questions and took an extra minute to review the water heat maintenance and safety measures. Cooper heating definitely has a new customer!

We had a clogged toilet on a Friday night. No matter what we tried could not get unclogged. We called Cooper and they set up a time on Saturday for a repair man to come. The technician showed at the appointment time. The technician found that our toilet needed replaced. He immediately made an appointment for us to have a new toilet installed. This company responded immediately to our emergency. The technicians were on time, very professional and very courteous. We will definitely continue to do business with them. They do excellent work and respond to any emergency quickly.

Brendan Dugan and Paul came out to give an estimate on hot water heater replacement. Brendan created a quote w/in 5 minutes. Complete installation of new water heater to replace 20 year old water heater (lots of work to bring up to code) was completed in 4 hours. Thanks again to Brendan & Paul!

We purchased not one but two systems(furnace and AC) from this company for our 2 homes. Our 5 year old AC started acting funny and we called this company to service it. The coils were dirty and the technician cleaned them for an outrageous price of $479. It was high, but we were hoping he knew what he was doing and that would fix the ac. At the end he said that our compressor gave out and he quoted $3.5K to fix the ac. Luckily we didnt believe him and invited a second company. The replaced sensor (?) and topped of refrigerant cheaper than the cleaning service by this company and now we have a working AC. Needless to say we will never call this company again and would they should be ashamed scamming their customers like this.

The not-fun process of having to replace a water heater (tankless) was made as painless as possible. I was updated throughout the day and given a thorough explanation of what was done and how everything works. Very professional and competent.

The Cooper team that came out to install my a/c system and upgrade the vents did a fantastic job. They were professional, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend them if you need a new a/c system.

I had a re-occurring gas leak to my furnace in my attic. Other contractors wouldn't deal with it, would only replace it with black iron, or patched it by tightening the connection.
Cooper added me immediately to their emergency queue as it was a Saturday afternoon, and the tech was on their way to my house within two hours. I received a courtesy text with a picture of the tech, and they called prior to their arrival.
During the process the tech was always courtesy and professional. Even went as far as to show me how to shut off the gas main coming into my home. A high-end quote was provided before any work was started. When the problem was identified he showed me why it happened, and how he resolved it. The tech also ended up reducing the number of billable hours as the work was completed quickly.
The organization, promptness, and ability to actually fix my problem was a nice chance after my previous experiences. I will definitely continue to call on Cooper for my HVAC needs.
