Comfy Cave Heating & Air

On cold winter day in Feb or March of 2023, Von the owner came out and did an emergency temporary modification to my malfunctioning gas heating system so I would have heat till he returned with the parts the next day and repaired my heater the correct way.

Was very fair in pricing, did excellent work. Adjusted how my blower worked so it would efficiently heat the house and also save me $$ for my heating bill.

Didn't gouge me for parts and service and helped us survive what would have been a freezing night in our home without heat.

If you want an honest, repairman. I recommend Comfy Cave HVAC.

Owner, Von, has been a great maintenance support person for our boiler system. I have referred at least 6 people to Comfy Cave. His prices are reasonable, and he will troubleshoot and price a repair over replacement when appropriate... unlike the "other guys".
Before I found him, I had the company who installed our furnace [9 years prior] come for a repair - they only offered me a $6500 replacement. Von came in and repaired for $1000. The repair held as long as we owned the home [another 5 years]. Thanks Von.

Von came out yesterday to install a Bosch IDS heat pump for me. He was great to work with, offering me more than a fair price for installation, and he even purchased my "old" AC condenser from me!

Very few companies would even consider doing what he did (installing equipment not purchased through them). His flexibility and professionalism seems to be unmatched in the industry, and while I don't expect to need any service for quite some time I won't hesitate to reach out to him when I do.

on March 22nd, 2023 Von and Michael and Karl came to our home and installed a BreezeAir Evaporative Cooler. We love it! Quiet, efficient and a much-appreciate upgrade from the single- speed, metal box cooler we installed 25 years ago. It was Von's recommendation and we took advantage of Comfy Cave's past-client, $500 Spring discount. Past-client...YES, because we've been in our home for 27 years and during that time, Comfy Cave has replaced our water-heater, furnace and now, our Evap. Cooler. We highly recommend Comfy Cave. We had Comfy Cave come out and install central air in our 1940's house. Their price was very fair, service was great and we don't have any complaints. They even installed a new thermostat for us since our old thermostat didn't work with the new A/C.

We had an extraordinary experience with comfy cave. And I'm not talking just about how professional they were but also because we had an HVAC issue that was unbelievably difficult to solve. But they were professional and communicative and even though it took much longer than any of us thought it was going to they stuck to their original estimate. I think four out of five other HVAC companies would have expected additional compensation for the extra time it took to solve the problem but comfy cave stuck to their estimate. We are very thankful for them and I would have no problem giving them a direct recommendation should anybody choose to contact me

We've used Comfy Cave several times for repair and improvements to our original 1909 boiler system. I can't recommend them highly enough. They are professional, friendly, very knowledgable and sharp, and honest. With our old system, you never know what you're going to find when you open things up and start tinkering and they've always been good at problem solving and adapting when things don't go as expected. Really just one of the best contractors we use.

Von was awesome! I first called him to fix my heater and he was available the very next day! Then my father's heater was struggling and he made it out the same day! Amazing service that was cheaper then the original estimate! I highly recommend this company.

Seriously the best! We've had so much trouble with our furnace not being the right fit for our old house but cant afford to replace the whole thing. Called Comfy Cave and Tracy came out and was so helpful, prompt and kind. Our house has been staying at the set temp and warm even on these freezing cold nights. Tracy was great! I immediately trusted him on his first visit to assess our very old boiler. I received a few bids for the work needed and we chose Comfy Cave and very glad we did. They installed our new boiler in one day and responded quickly to work out a few minor kinks in the system.
