James from comfy cave was courteous and knowledgeable when he came to clean and repair our furnace. Three other companies we had called had come over and we're not able to determine the cause and just charged a visit fee. To be fair, our furnace had started to fail more often when James visited. He had an idea within 10 minutes. I highly recommend this company. Some of the other companies recommended $800 to $1200 fixes. Comfy cave replaced one part reinforced another and cleaned the furnace for just over $300.

I have found my new heating and air company! Our air conditioner was performing poorly at the end of last summer. We had a big company come to assess and they just looked at it, said it was old and needed to be replaced. Nothing else could be done. They quoted $12k. We put off any decision making until this spring and we were looking at just getting a swamp cooler. We decided to get a second opinion on the AC, just for good measure. Comfy Cave had great reviews so I booked with them.

James came out, stood next to the unit and knew exactly what was wrong. After he added (quite a bit) of refrigerant, cleaned out leaves and debris, and changed the air filter to one he prefers (and is less expensive than the one I was buying), we had a perfectly working AC unit. Tons of cold air pumping into the house. For a few hundred bucks we got what the other company wanted to charge us $12k for. I'll never use them again. I'll always call Comfy Cave and highly recommend them to anyone. James was very personable and honest. It was great to work with him!

Great experience! The team was very professional and courteous with excellent workmanship. They did a great job with the prep work, protecting the work surfaces inside and outside my house and cleanup at the end.

Von and his team came highly recommended to me. After getting a couple of proposals I valued Von's honest opinion, feedback, and pricing. They installed a new AC and worked with the asbestos team to make it a seamless removal and installation. I will continue referring Comfy Cave to others looking for heating or air services in their home.

We had 3 different companies come out to look at our old boiler and none of them could figure it out. Comfy Cave was able to fix it and get it running like new in just a couple hours. We will definitely use them for all of our HVAC needs in the future!!

Comfy Cave expertly replaced an aging rooftop swamp cooler at my south Denver home in July 2016. The three-man crew was cheerful, thorough, and fast. They arrived in clean-looking company-marked vans. The replacement took about half a day. From what I saw, heard, and deduced, this is a very good and ethical company to work for. A final point--the price was fair and reasonable. Comfy Cave does not take advantage, which is not always the case in the HVAC arena. I recommend this company unreservedly.

AMAZING service! I had my (ancient, 41-year-old) GE (now Trane) furnace blower motor seize up. Last year, Comfy Cave did an excellent job on my AC unit replacement, so I called them again and scheduled a service appointment for the next day.

However, in desperation to have heat that night, I took my blower assembly out, removed the blower motor only to find a TON of dirt and dust caked on throughout. I took it apart and cleaned it all up, oiled it, and reassembled it and it started working again! I was pretty proud of myself, actually. I called back the next morning and canceled my service appointment. A couple hours later, Von called me and said he was headed back from another job and offered to stop by my house and run a couple tests on my furnace at no cost. Skeptical and ready for a sales pitch, I reluctantly agreed to let him stop by. He thoroughly inspected my furnace and used several meters to take readings. As it turned out, he said he was amazed that my furnace was still doing great.

To my surprise, he told me that it didn't need further repair or replacement and happily showed me all the readings and explained what they meant. I asked him if the company paid for his tools and meters and only then did he tell me that he was actually the owner. I had no idea, he never came across as an owner or pushy. When he and his other guys did my AC install the previous summer, I never even even picked up on the fact that he was their boss, much less the owner. Extremely respectful, thorough, gracious, and honest. You can't ask for much more than that. Customer for life...

We had Comfy Cave out to look at our AC unit to turn it on for the summer. It is a 20 year old system. They cleaned it up, tested all and changed the filter and we were good to go. It pays to have regular maintenance done on your air condition system . Thank you Comfy Cave Heating & Air!
