Steve's Five Star Service

I just want to thank Jose from Steve’s Five Star Service for being so kind and thorough when he came to our house to diagnose and fix a leak. Not only did he fix the plumbing, but knowing we were first-time homeowners, he also educated us on the possible damages behind the walls, and the need to call someone to do moisture readings. He showed on time, was respectful of our property, and was educating us on what was going on. He also referred us to another highly rated company to do the moisture readings and they were also very thorough. The owner, Steve, is also very responsive on Yelp and showed that he truly cares, when I expressed disappointment from a past experience with another plumber from the company. They try to really make sure that everyone has a great experience and that they address your needs as a client. Jose is our new go-to plumber now for any future needs!

I am so glad I chose this company based on their Google reviews here to Replace our whole A/C system. And by whole A/C I mean the whole Central Air with panels, vents everything.

This was my second time to rely on Steve's 5 Star and they did not disappoint. Martin the plumber was at my house early and kept me in the loop as he progressed in a job that I thought would be simple but turned out to be complex. Martin was friendly, articulated everything he was doing, and kept me abreast of the possible and then final cost. He was amazing and I am very happy with the results, a cleaned drain (going into the rain 30 feet) with a one-year warranty for service.

Our AC was making a squealing sound so we shut it down and called Steve's. When Enrique arrived, the sound didn't appear, so Enrique suggested a service anyway. He worked solidly for about an hour, testing and cleaning, while answering our questions, explaining what he was doing and giving us the results. Enrique was polite, knowledgeable, efficient and made sure he cleaned up after himself. Enrique is a fine, intelligent young man; Steve's is lucky to have him as an employee.

Man came, looked at our AC unit. He said it takes 17 lbs of Freon at $200 a lb. Then he said there was a leak and it would run us $5000 to fix it or we could get a new heat pump for $15,000 with a payment plan. He couldn’t come back so I got another guy Not from Steve’s, who said it was just a stuck compressor!

Alex was our technician; he diagnosed the issue right away and resolved it. He started the AC system and stayed to be sure it was functioning properly and tested temperature of air leaving vents. Very happy with their service.

Martin was on time, clean, friendly and professional. He removed two toilets, installed new ones which he had recommended and supplied, and cleaned up thoroughly, leaving nothing behind.

The technician arrived a little before the time window and was very helpful, thorough and professional. He even took the time to show us the proper way to clean our unit so that we won't need to call him so often in the future!

Jose Morales is the plumber you want to have. From the initial appt setting, his punctual arrival and timely completion of the work exemplifies a focus on professionalism.In addition I am having a replacement HVAC system bid as well primarily because of their commitment to the details. Needed water heater repair on a weekend. The weekend evening service was much appreciated, even though pricier than regular weekday hours service. Technician was helpful on phone and then promptly completed repair once arrived. (It helped I already had the parts here) I would recommend and use again.
