Action Air Conditioning & Heating

My AC wouldn’t turn on, and there was no error message on the controller.
Action came out to diagnose the trouble. They discovered that there was no coolant in the system, and then went on to determine that the root cause is a leak in the evaporator coil. Not good, as it’s getting warmer, and the part will have to be ordered, but fortunately it’s under warranty, so that’s good.

My mini-split heat/ac unit failed when we had a power failure in our neighborhood. Action Air had installed the unit. They performed a service visit. The technician, Majid, was on time, professional and very knowledgeable. He was able to resolve the issue and then spent some time educating me on how to maintain the unit. I was very pleased with the experience. Action Air has installed a solar system and two mini-split units. They are always responsive, helpful and thorough. Very trustworthy.

Air handler stopped working on a Sunday. Action had tech out by midday Tuesday Jared was great - personable and extremely thorough. He identified the likely cause, which wasn’t repeatable at the time, and also determined that the fan settings weren’t correct for our system. They’d been left on factory default since the system was installed nine years ago and nobody ever noticed before. Jared figured it out and left us with the system running right.

I had a furnace tuneup done by Luis Castaneda from Action Air, one year after installation. Luis was highly professional, explained technical items clearly, and provided a detailed online report with photos. I declined the one recommendation for now, but will definitely continue to stay with Action Air for their very outstanding service.

Kevin O'Brian came out to inspect and find the reason my heater wasn't working. He located the problem after a thorough inspection and had it working. He also gave me a pointer on what went wrong so it won't happen again. I was very satisfied with his professionalism.

We had a great experience with Action Air for a whole system replacement including furnace and AC. The team was so polite, they were very conscious about putting down drop cloths and wearing shoe covers. Repaired minor damage from getting old unit out. On time with arrival notification text messages. Five star rating.
