Action Air Conditioning & Heating

The Action tech Jimmy Arrieta-Segovia did a super job for us.

I was given a 4-hour arrival window for yesterday when I made the appointment. About midway through the window, I received a call that Jimmy was on the way. So far so good.

Jimmy arrived with his cleaning equipment, confirmed the price I had been quoted, then got to work. He did a great job cleaning out our very long, very dirty dryer vent.

Long story short, very happy with the service. Highly recommended.

My technician was absolutely fantastic! He was friendly. He was devoted and dedicated to repairing the unit, he tried everything he could. He called his supervisor was on the phone with him making sure that he didn't miss anything and even though at the end he was not able to repair it. He was very friendly and very knowledgeable about explaining the options to me so that I can make the best decision going forward. I look forward to continuing to work with your company. You guys are great!

Bradley the marketing rep at Costco was superb, Bob the salesman was very knowledgeable, Nacho and team knocked out the install within two days including complete attic duct replacement, and Brandon the tech came to ensure all was working properly. I highly recommend this team for all your installation and repair needs.

Nice technician. Needed a second opinion on my heating system. Working with warranty company, the technician seemed to keep telling me how everything is wrong with my system and kind of upselling more work. I am sure he was trying to help, but some people just want to get it fixed. His diagnosis comments voided my home warranty because he said the whole system was installed poorly.

The company called me an hour after I posted and asked me what they did wrong and to take down this review.

Rudy and Fernando are an incredible team! We are so grateful we had them as our installers. Great experience with Action. They came twice this past month, once for duct cleaning and the second time for an AC tune-up. Both technicians were super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They got the work done quick, and cleaned up after. They wore shoe covers when in the house which we really appreciated. We'll likely be working with Action moving forward through their annual maintenance plan.

Preston Perry was the lead installer of a Daikin heat pump and replacement of visible ductwork overhead. His assistant did the ductwork. Preston seemed well informed and efficient. I asked quite a few questions, to which he responded graciously and clearly.

The only answer I did not understand was about wiring that appeared to be part of the thermostat control. It runs from the upper part of the installation and enters the enclosure near the equipment near the bottom of the housing. The wiring is fully exposed. It is low voltage so this may be the usual method of installation, but it seems less professional than the remainder of the installation work. If the exposed wiring is the usual method of installation, I do not object to its appearance. My only reason for questioning was my concern that it might be subject to damage.

Preston and his assistant were joined by another worker later. Everyone was careful about cleanup and left the premises in good order. Preston returned three days later, Friday, and installed a safety device that had not been included with the materials delivered the first day. When he finished on Friday, he fully explained the operation of the system that I would need to know.

Preston and his assistants represented Action very well. I have not yet received the results of the test performed on May 30, nor the inspection to be done by the City of Oceanside. I expect these inspections to confirm my favorable impression of the work done by Preston and his crew.

Very honest hardworking and fair. Also very nice guy. What more can u ask for? Eli is a great technician.

Update:

He got me everything he could under the warranty. And he took the time out to correctly diagnose the issue. Another company just wanted to recharge my system without identifying the link. Ask for ELI! Good guy
