This review is different because John never set foot in our house and solved our problem. Speaks volumes about his passion and genuineness. Having talked to multiple HVAC specialists and many more who did not return our calls, John was available on our first call. He listened to the issue patiently, asked me the right questions and explained what may be going wrong. That led us into researching more and to take a peak ourselves if it was worth his time to come and fix it. In the process, we discovered the source of bad smell from the furnace (sparing the details here). Ultimately our problem was fixed but I still decided to leave a recommendation for his knowledge, eagerness to help, (he knew we didn't have heat) diagnose and fix the situation. Everyone else suggested replacing the unit instead of fixing a working unit. I did promise him I’ll call him first, if we ever needed HVAC services in future.

Very friendly team who accommodated my schedule as much as possible. My unit was quite irregular, but they spent a lot of time exploring every possible issue before providing a recommendation during the consultation. Also, very reasonably priced, as far as HVAC technicians go.

I called Silicon Valley Comfort late afternoon on Sunday since I couldn't get anyone open at that time, then, I think I won the lottery.

John answered the phone and he's not only super nice but also super professional. He knew everything what I need to do and he knew how to fix it almost immediately.

Just give him a call if you have any wall heater problem like I have, then the rest is history.

John & Nina we really kind and helpful. They went far above and beyond to help us. John is a seasoned professional, with tons of helpful knowledge. He listened closely to my concerns and took the time to identify the problem. They fit us into a very busy week, coming after hours to inspect our system even when we were new customers. I cannot recommend them enough!

Really appreciate these guys' great customer service, willingness to share their industry knowledge, and flexibility at late hours on the weekend. I reached out to these guys at 7pm on a Saturday and they were able to help me with a broken AC. They followed up the following day to make sure everything went well and was still working out great. Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience again!! Thank you so much! Last year, I moved into my new home and found our AC not working. They told me i the unit needed replacing...they also suggested a possible warranty (my 1st home). They didn't want to cancel the existing warranty....so they gave me a loaner ac to use until I was able to get repairs done. Saved my friend and my 2 small pets from baking.

Silicon Valley Comfort is one of the best HVAC service I have seen so far compare most of other one in Bay Area. Technician are not only very knowledgeable, but also very patient to the customer. John and Nina are always think of customer side, they are proposed and suggest a way that the customer who can save money for the HVAC service/installation. They are not only specialty on regular HVAC system, but also expert on both US/Japanese Mini Split System. To be honest, there are not too many HVAC service company know how to install HVAC system especially Japanese version. Thank you for John for all the suggestion and guideline to install my 2-Zones Japanese version of LG Mini Split system, John's suggestion save me more thousand for the installation. And, they did very good job and fast for my 2 Zones Japanese Mini-Split System, and they will help you out all the time even after they completed the installation, so don't hesitate to contact them if you need any HVAC service or any questions regarding to HVAC etc. Thank you for all your help.

Please note, I do not write reviews...and I just had to write one for Silicon Valley Comfort. I called SVC on a Saturday night at around 9:15 PM and he was at my door by 10:30 PM. He stayed until 11:50 PM and had me back up and running by the time he left. And no, I did not mistake my AMs and PMs. SVC provides 24/7 service. He did not rush through any of the work and was extremely thorough - ensuring he checked every possibility so that he made sure the problem was fixed.

My husband travels a lot so when something goes wrong, I am at a loss as I have two kids and trying to make service appointments is a nightmare (cause either we have to sit at home for hours waiting for someone to come or they are screaming and I can't even talk to the person). So having SVC provide a service in the evening when my kids were none the wiser was wonderful.

Price wise...I thought for sure it was going to be expensive for not only a weekend call but an evening call, but he was so reasonable...I actually wanted to pay him more as I felt he did an amazing job and was charging hardly anything. Definitely would use SVC again and recommend SVC to anyone.

Remember weekend before last when it was in the 90's? Well our A/C quit on Sunday afternoon. I checked with Google and call several businesses. No one was open except Silicon Valley Comfort HVAC. They answered and came out Sunday night about 9:00pm and worked for two hours and fixed the HVAC!!! Excellent work and so very considerate. Call them first.

They were very thorough and personable in their problem-solving. They were available to answer any clarifying questions we had for them. Would definitely be in favor of them returning for any issues with our AC unit in the future.
