I called a few places that had good google and yelp reviews. However, this company was the only one that got to me within a few hrs. Other places did not pick up nor did they return the phone call within the same business day. As the services I received was not a 1 day job, it was very comforting that either John or Nina was accessible and responded to texts or phone calls within the hour.

When they came for the consult, they were very honest. I have had people trying to sell certain monthly maintenance services. However, John was not like that. He explained what needed to be done and some of the maintenance practices that can help us avoid frequent services. Although the repair of our unit turned out to be longer than the promised time, as complications did arise, he still honored his fees and did not nickle and dime us. He and Nina came after their other jobs (after hours) to complete ours as quickly as possible, which I appreciated very much! Very hardworking.

I very much recommend this company. Our AC runs so much more efficiently now and we will be calling again if ever the need!

We called on a Saturday morning because our a/c was having troubles and John and Nina were quick to pick up the telephone and arrived within hours. Both were very professional, knowledgable and helped us understand what could make the a/c more efficient. We will definitely be calling back for maintenance and when the time comes for a new unit. It happened on very hot Saturday - my Air Conditioner stopped working. The majority of companies that do AC repair do not work on Saturdays/Sundays. The forecast showed several very hot subsequent days but the earliest appointment I could get was only on Tuesday. I kept searching - finally I was lucky to find Silicon Valley Comfort that works 24/7. I called them at 2 AM - surprise, somebody immediately picked up the phone. It was Johnathan, the company’s owner. (He seems to be working 24/7!) His schedule for Sunday was practically full but he found a couple of hours on Sunday very late evening. Moreover, he stopped by my house at 9 AM Sunday morning and brought portable AC (and connected it in my bedroom) to avoid my overheating until he comes in the evening. Miracles do happen - on Sunday late evening my AC started working again.
Over the years my AC was repaired several times. Never before Johnathan fixed it, my AC worked so good. The temperature inside the whole house went down very fast. After all previous repairs it always took much longer time. I can feel really cool air coming out, not just slightly cooler than the temperature inside the house.
One more thing to add - Johnathan and his wife, Nina, who assists him, are wonderful people. They are very friendly, and it is real pleasure to communicate with them. Great company, responsive and fully caring for their customers!

John has very good work ethic. He is very thorough, sincere and detail oriented. He replaced the control board and the capacitor to get blower motor working again. Service rate is very reasonable. Nina Was always very pleasant over the phone. I would not hesitate to call them in the future.

Silicon Valley Comfort have installed in our house one of the best Bryant Evolution AC and Heating system in August 2020. Amazing quality of work, very focused on all the details of the installation, great mindset of spending enough time to make your AC and Heating perfect - including week-ends. During a heat wave my AC went out when we needed it the most, contacted several other companies that would not even answer their phone. Silicon Valley Comfort answered and came over as soon as they could to repair my AC. John and Nina showed up to my house and within 30-45 minutes the AC was good if not better than new. They will now be the folks who service our heating and AC units. Honest, professional, and quick with no price gouging. Just imagine that in the this valley !!! My Ac stopped working. It had power and could be forced on, but got no control signal. SVC technician diagnosed by connecting wires together that one was cut (likely by a rat) and substituted it by the third unused wire. This combination of skill and improvisation is not so common. Highly recommended.

Our AC stopped working a day before Labor Day during the heat wave and low air quality due to wildfires. John and Nina managed to come over on Labor Day night which I couldn’t believe as no contractor was available to work on the long weekend. John was able to diagnose the problem quickly and got our old AC working again! John patiently walked me through the issue and only changed the parts that needed to be changed. They are the most professional, honest and punctual HVAC company that I could have imagined. I highly recommend John and Nina!

I really appreciated a few things about John and Nina's service: they were able to add me to their schedule the same day, they kept me informed when the job before mine was going long, when they did arrive they gave my problems their full attention and stayed until they were happy with the finished result even though it was Friday night of a 3 day weekend. I'm very glad I called them to get my AC checked out and tuned back up.

After 12 years of trying other A/C companies, Silicon Valley Comfort is the company I will depend on from now on, thank you Johnathan and Nina!

My HVAC system was knocked out of commission by workers doing a home renovation. Oh no, my wife and I were facing a cold night in the Bay Area, something we did before and do not want to experience ever again. Unfortunately, it was after 5pm on a Friday night and the weekend before the Thanksgiving Holidays. The A/C company that installed our system was not available, so I started to call all other "24 Hour" companies. All I got was answer machines after 10? 20? tries, and those few that answered were not available within 24 hours. Johnathan answered on the second ring, and I was able to schedule my appointment that same night!

When Johnathan and Nina arrived, they were kind, courteous, and professional. They both followed all protocols with masks and distancing in this state of Covid we are experiencing. I have a Bryant system and both Johnathan and Nina were familiar with my model and all the controls. Within 10 minutes of their arrival, Johnathan determined the problem was a blown fuse. Nina quickly reset all my original settings on my thermostat, and helped get my heat flowing again.

What further impressed me with Johnathan and Nina was their confidence and knowledge about A/C systems and working with them in general. I have had my home since 2009 and have worked with two other professional companies for my HVAC system. Since 2009 I have had my home checked at least twice a year by these other companies. The other two companies did not point out that water leakage, or signs of water leakage, was an issue. After just a few minutes, Johnathan was able to spot that rust, or signs of previous water leakage as an issue. He said it could indicate a variety of problems and he recommended that they be addressed. Wow, after 12 years of twice-a-year maintenance checks and this was never pointed out to me. Johnathan caught this potential issue in a few minutes.

Johnathan and Nina are a young couple, and I appreciate the passion and knowledge they have shown. I am changing my maintenance contract over to Johnathan and Nina and will recommend Silicon Valley Comfort to anyone I meet.
