Silicon Valley Comfort

We had a problem with our furnace. I didn't like the response of the company I had worked with before, and based on many positive reviews I called Silicon Valley Comfort. This was a smart move: I got excellent and prompt service and what really impressed me is the deep knowledge and expertise of John about HVAC systems. He pointed out to some issues with my current system and fixed them, most noticeably he pointed to me that my HVAC is 2-stage but was not connected to the thermostat to take advantage of this! He also gave me good tips on how to maintain the system. In summary, I highly recommend Silicon Valley Comfort!

Silicon Valley Comfort is thorough and trustworthy and provides high-quality work at a reasonable price. John took the time to explain everything he was doing as he fixed our furnace, which needed several tweaks to get it working smoothly again. They were very easy to communicate with via calls and texts and were willing to work outside of normal business hours despite being in a busy season. We look forward to working with them again for preventative maintenance on our furnace.

John came out to our home and was able to quickly assess the issue with our heating system, repair it, thoroughly check it for fails and ensure that we understood the issue. It was refreshing to find someone willing to come out the same day and take care of this so that my family is not too cold. Awesome service.

My AC went out at 4pm and after calling 7 other “24 hour HVAC” companies who told me they wouldn’t be able to get to me for a couple days, I called Jonathan and Nina at SVC.

They came the same night and stayed until the morning hours to identify the problem and implement a fix. It required them to come back a few ours later due to the blower needing soaking for cleaning. They called me and provided updates as when they would be back. When they came back they completed the job quickly and with very fair pricing.

Jonathan and Nina came to my house wearing masks and were respectful of our no shoes in the house rule(we have a baby).

I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their AC fixed or repaired. They were both very meticulous with their work and it shows that they take pride in the quality of work they produce.

I will definitely be calling them again for my HVAC needs.

Our AC went down on a 102 degree weather day in my area and my grandmother, who was going to come home from the hospital the next day with heart problems, would not have been able to withstand the unbearable heat in our house. I called AC contractors EVERYWHERE, none of them had time to come out that day. I was ready to give up calling contractors, but then I found Silicon Valley Comfort's webpage and they made time for me in the middle of the night. They were SUPER friendly and fixed our AC system right away. We were so grateful for the services they provided right when we needed it the most. One of the BEST, if not, the BEST HVAC services one could hope for!

Our AC wasn't turning on so we called SVC. They were able to fit us in their schedule and come out the same day. It was hassle free and they practice social distancing (with masks) so we felt very comfortable. They quickly assessed the issue and provided great insight into the fix, along with what we needed to do to maintain a healthy system. Overall great experience especially compared to other HVAC companies we tried to call on the same day. Thanks guys!

During the middle of the night on one of the hottest days in the summer, our A/C started blowing warm air. This made it hard to sleep, especially for our one year old. We were lucky to find that Silicon Valley Comfort was actually open 24 hours, unlike other HVAC companies that stated they were 24 hours but only had an answering service . John came right out and was able to diagnose the problem and had the part stocked in his Van. He was very thorough and educated us on the importance of changing our filter more often. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Silicon Valley Comfort is great to work with and super responsive. Our A/C stopped working on the 100+ degree day. :( I called Silicon Valley Comfort and they got me on the schedule the very next day, even offered to come very late that same evening. Very professional and honest service. I will use them again with no hesitation!!!

John and team installed an AC coil and condenser unit to an existing heating system.
They took their time to assess the existing system and provided the best quote with various options for the installation, they provided a detailed quote based on the work that was required.

We had a situation where the new AC unit had a coolant leak (when unboxing), John was genuinely concerned that a brand-new unit shouldn't be installed when there was a leak. He took the time to take the unit back to the supplier to swap it out for a new one.
This showed honesty and customer care that most installers would not show, yes it took an extra day to install, but I had the peace of mind that the unit going in was not going to experience any issues once installed.

The installation job was clean and made improvements to the existing heating system to allow both systems to work efficiently.

I would recommend Silicon Valley Comfort for future work.

John & Nina went above and beyond to make it to my house on a Sunday and wouldn’t stop until they found the issues in our hvac system that were causing our issues. They were very thorough and really cared about how the findings could affect our health. They make a great team and are very knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to refer them!
