Brian and Hector brought my 17 year old tankless water heater up to code, installed missing flush system, installed the correct the ductwork, including roof outlet, flushed the system, all is working again!

The plumber (Robert) reset two bathroom faucets that were not installed correctly the first time. He was up front about the charges and efficient in doing the repairs. As usual with Cabrillo, he was very courteous, clean and professional.

Cabrillo was very prompt in responding to our call, even though this was not an emergency, and it was a Saturday. Brian was extremely professional and helpful in explaining the issues and work needed, but unfortunately did not have the needed supplies on his truck, otherwise he would have fixed everything then. He came back first thing Monday and finished very quickly. I saw one other review complaining about the prices. Cabrillo seemed about on par for cost, and as has been said, "you get what you pay for!" Cabrillo was the second company we had to call to correct plumbing needed to install a new dishwasher. The first company broke a pipe in the process of a valve replacement and used questionable replacement hose materials. Brian informed us the installed valve was not the correct type and replaced it along with new pipe, and installed a separate valve and hose to plumb water back to our refrigerator. The first company just removed the water supply and said it wasn't possible to reconnect. So - I'd say Cabrillo did a great job! Brian is excellent with communications, and was also willing to inspect other parts of our 60-year old pipe system for any other issues. Fortunately things checked out fine. Candice, in Cabrillo's office, was also very timely and responsive with the paperwork, which I appreciated.

Dave installed a new water heater, multiple bath and kitchen plumbing fixtures, and a new, much needed pressure valve. These installations have improved the quality of our lives tremendously, from the tap water tasting cleaner and better to our irrigation system functioning more effectively. Our lawn has never looked better. The kitchen faucet is such an improvement over the old one -- much easier to use and much cleaner water. The sinks and showers function so much better. We're thrilled with the results. Dave was ably assisted on multiple visits by Eric, Hugo and Jeremy. They were all prompt and professional. We recommend them highly.

Called up Cabrillo to replace some stuck bathroom sink valves and a leaky faucet. Was able to easily schedule a convenient appt and the tech Dave showed up at the beginning of the time window provided. He was very nice and professional. The valves were replaced swiftly and rather than replace the cartridges on my old faucet, I opted to get a new faucet, as that would be the most cost effective. Once the faucet came in, I was able to get Dave back out again to install the faucet and also replace an very old sink trap.

Cabrillo is not cheap and does charge per job/task, which includes any needed parts as part of the estimate provided. This differs from a time and materials billing, but I do feel I got good value for the work completed.

Sal took care of booking my appts and was also very professional and got me scheduled very efficiently. I mentioned a price quote discrepancy and Sal did some follow-up and got that resolved for me too.

We also signed up for their annual inspection contract, which is helpful to have our systems inspected in our old house annually. This gives us peace of mind to know and keep our systems safe and in good working order.

Time after time top notch professional service keeps me returning to Cabrillo for all my plumbing and HVAC service needs. I have been using Cabrillo for the past 5 years and have not been disappointed with the response time, technician capability, or professionalism. Called this morning with an emergency main-line clean out request and the dispatcher worked hard to identify a technician that could come out same day and David was knocking on my door within the hour. He was very knowledgeable, provided a couple different options to complete the work with different price points and took the time to explain exaclty what he would be doing while on site. He was in and out in about an hour. I barely knew here was here and his left the job site as clean as he found it. Recommending Cabrillo - very professional, highly experienced technicians with a proven track record for all of my plumbing and HVAC service needs.

Excellent service by Cabrillo and especially their plumber Frank. I was left with a lots of problems by another plumber who did a horrible toilet install.. really a nightmare. I knew I needed a highly professional established plumber to redo the situation so I called Cabrillo.. first time but they will be my go to plumber for all future needs. On time, clean, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. Frank explained everything to me. I was so grateful to them for their car and understanding of my situation. Candace was wonderful too setting up my appointment needs.

Our tankless water heater kept going out and our home warranty sent out a different company who didn't fix it and said we were going to have to replace the whole unit but that it wasn't covered by our home warranty. We decided to call Cabrillo to get a second opinion and our tech Brian B arrived on time and was super friendly. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue and fixed our heater with without out replacing any parts, just a quick cleaning and reconnecting of part. He was super helpful in teaching me about my heater, how to service it and when i would eventually need to replace it. We can take hot showers again! This was about as good as a service company's service can get. 5 Stars!

I am so happy with Frank from Cabrillo Plumbing. He did a great job with assessing the problem with our toilet and explained everything very thoroughly. I have never been more happier with a plumbing company than Cabrillo. We have used them for a few years and their work is top notch! They are very professional and have great customer service. I can't recommend them enough.

One morning during the recent cold weather, our furnace started blowing a horrible smell smell out of the heat ducts. We a called a company that had serviced our system previously. They sent someone over to check out the situation. The tech didn't do any investigation of the furnace and when he smelled the odor coming out of the ducts, he said the manifold on the furnace had cracked and combustion products were coming into our living space. We were advised to turn off the furnace and not to use it. No repair was suggested other than a new furnace. We did turn off the furnace, but fortunately we called Cabrillo for a second opinion. Frank came over quickly and assessed the situation thoroughly. Unlike the other tech, he carefully examined the furnace and after extensive diagnosis, he determined that the installation was a sloppy job. A piece of plasticy insulation had fallen onto the manifold, melted, started vaporizing and was producing the awful smell. The fix was just to gain access to the manifold and clean in thoughly. After Frank's fix, the furnace is producing lots of odorless heat. Frank's diagnostic skill, thoroughness, and honesty saved us a ton of money. If he had not been here we would have probably ended up buying a new furnace. Frank and Cabrillo have our highest recommendation.
