I called Cabrillo Plumbing Heating and Air for a backed-up sewage pipe and they were OUTSTANDING!!! They set up my appointment promptly and were on time. About 30 minutes before arrival I received a text from Cabrillo telling me David, the plumber was en route. The text included a picture, physical description, years of experience, hobbies, and so on. Once David got to our house he introduced himself and was very professional. He checked the area where the clogged pipe was and got a general layout of our plumbing. He set up his work area and got down to business all the while explaining what he was doing, how the plumbing system worked, and what the overall goal was. After David verified the clog was clear and flowing he installed our toilet with the ease of a seasoned artist. Their quality of service and professionalism impressed me and I will call them in the future for plumbing or heating needs.

Brian was on time, easy to talk to, did the work quickly and professionally and left with everything clean and back in place. He even gave me some advice about other appliances.

Robert does a great job. He explains the problem and what it takes to fix it. He is thorough, efficient, neat. It's a pleasure to do business with him!

Frank was knowledgeable, kind, personable, and efficient. He was very thorough in his diagnostic testing of our furnace and even double checked a job done earlier in the month by his colleagues to make sure all was functioning as it should. You can’t go wrong with Frank!

I had a great experience with Dave and Oliver, who installed a custom colored vanity and TOTO toilet in my vintage 1930's bathroom. After a previous plumber (from a different company ) told me that both items were too complicated to install, I was nervous... after regrouping with Dave I found out that these items were not as big a deal to install as I had understood. Dave was communicative throughout the installation, informing me of issues as they arose, and asking questions when decisions needed to be made throughout the process.

Our technician David Preciado did a wonderful job fixing leaks and replacing our old fixtures in the bathroom and kitchen. Great work and very professional. We had Cabrillo install a new heater a couple of years ago and that went great! We highly recommend Cabrillo Plumbing and Heating!

I was a returning customer as we have used them in the past. We unfortunately had a severely clogged toilet and the service was fine and personable etc but my beef is with the charge I ended up with a $298 15 minute visit at best. I understand you have to make money but for that short of a visit that should not be the charge. I will seek other alternatives going forward.

Just because you can charge that doesn’t mean you should. Clearly your response below does not justify that price. I will be going elsewhere.

I highly recommend Cabrillo. Frank and team were extremely professional and organized. I was looking to replace my gas furnace with a ductless mini-split heat pump system. My home in SF is complex (like many homes here), and several other installers tried to talk me out of getting a heat pump. Cabrillo is very forward looking and creative and understands that heat pumps are the future of HVAC. They also installed a heat pump water heater. My gas bill is gone and my electric bill is shockingly low. I'm very happy with the system, as well as the service.

Our home gas furnace stopped working, and it turned out to be a defective thermostat. Cabrillo replaced our old Honeywell thermostat with a smart Nest, and the system works remarkably well now. In fact, it works so well, that we decided to replace our 2nd gas furnace thermostat with a new Nest as well. Our home is now upgraded to a much more programmable heating system, and both furnaces work beautifully. Thank you Robert Burkett for doing such a great job and being so pleasant at it.

Been trusting Cabrillo and their expert field technicians, dispatchers and back office staff for nearly two decades. All the ways I deal with them is top notch and done with integrity. Plumbing is no place for amateurs if you like quality, follow through and peace of mind; go with the professionals at Cabrillo. For the one or two times a year I need plumbing work, it’s well worth it as I know the work’s done right.
