Wow we all know of this company through American Home shield, when we first got our house inspected the person who did the house inspection said we need a new furnace. It’s very old and there was a crack from rust that he said will cause a CO2 leak that can kill us. When they came out, they said that there is nothing wrong so I paid out-of-pocket for a second opinion. The guy said he can’t in good conscience fix the furnace. He said it was a death trap and whoever came out would have known that as well

This company employs people who are reckless, careless and unprofessional. Their employees have a complete disregard for company property and lack consideration for the property and safety of others! Their employees exercise no sense of ownership or pride for the company, in what they do, or who they serve - which anyone with a professional background knows that this is a management problem; so good luck expressing your concern to someone who cares.

Please stop and think before you call them for business. If a company employs people who are as reckless, careless, unprofessional, and inconsiderate as the individuals I encountered, do you think they will actually have your best interest in mind? It‘s unfortunate this “family owned business” has such personnel on their payroll. Individuals who behave unprofessionally will only continue to tarnish your company’s reputation and your company name. Organizations who tolerate such unprofessional behaviors by their employees, do not care about their customers. Please do not waste your time with them. Especially if you consider your safety, the safety of your loved ones, and your time to be of value. You’ve been warned.

I would give zero stars if I could. American Home Shield dispatched this very incompetent and unresponsive vendor for a warranty call to address my heater malfunction.

Not only are they nearly impossible to get a hold off (multiple calls to their offices to schedule never get returned), but when you do on the rare occasion reach a live person, they tell you they will call you back and then never bother.

When I finally did get a tech to come, he not only failed to fix the reported issues (which I explained to him verbally when he arrived) but actually ran out of my house without even speaking to me. I was working in my office 2 rooms away, and instead of telling me 1) he was finished and 2) what he had fixed.

I found a scribbled yellow invoice on my kitchen counter, with some gibberish and a note that my system was “not functioning to spec”. No recommendation to follow up.

Needless to say, my heater was/is still not working. I reported this to Rose within an hour of their tech fleeing my house, speaking with an actual live person who promised to call the tech and get back to me that same day. Needless to say, she never called me back.

However, Rose Heating had the nerve to claim the job was “completed” later that same day, which resulted in me getting charged $100 copay by AHS.

I then made another 6 phone calls in 5 days to report the uncompleted job and to reschedule another tech to come out and actually finish the job. So far, they have not failed to confirm a followup appointment.

On a side note: I will also be canceling my AHS warranty. This whole debacle has included multiple calls to AHS service to complain about Rose and to request a new vendor. They have continually given me the run around - they could care less about vendor quality. They clearly hire the bottom of the barrel.

My warranty company AHS had Rose Heating & Air install a new roof Unit Dec 19,22. The permit and Hers test are not covered by my warranty so I paid for it out of pocket as seen on the attached invoice. The work was not completed. They never did the Hers Test or have the inspection done. They have not returned any of my calls which have been 19 calls and voice mails. I have sent 7 emails, my warranty company has done 3 call and mails requesting they contact me. I was requesting copies of my invoices and manufactures information on unit installed plus copy of the Permit and when will the HERS test be done. To date I have not received a response. AVOID THIS COMPANY!! They have the worse customer service and they do not respond or even answer their phone!!!

I was very disappointed with Rose’s heating and air conditioning because they reported to my insurance provider that they had completed a preseasonal heating inspection.

The frustrating part is that they never set foot in my house. They were unresponsive to my insurance company and never scheduled to inspect my house with me.

I was attempting to be proactive and have the inspection done , to secure my family due to the change in seasons. I feel like good service is very hard to find. I also feel like I let my family down as they look to me for direction.

Like many on here, my home warranty company sent out Rose yesterday as my furnace was making a horrible noise. The downside is that I didn't get a call prior to them coming out, but I work from home so it wound up being fine. Eddie, the technician, diagnosed the problem immediately, but didn't have the parts to fix it- he grabbed the parts from their supplier on the way home and came back out today and installed it- in and out in 20 minutes, works great. Super nice guy, explained what was going on, and got my furnace back up and running in short order.

Maybe I lucked out, or they've hired some new folks? Either way, they get five stars from me.

UPDATE: Beware, if you complain about this company they will lie & say they "attempted" to call you but that you never called them back! But no, according to phone records, there is no indication they even attempted! So they either "lie like a cheap rug" or they are incompetent and do not know how to properly use a phone. Do you really want to higher a company like this??

Good luck in contacting this company!! I, like most everyone else here in the reviews section, was directed to this company through my home warranty service, American Home Shield. I started calling 2 days after the contract was issued. After attempting to contact them after 3 weeks, I finally contact AHS, who attempted to contact both by phone and email. When I checked today on the status, my service request had been cancelled because as AHS reported, "...the company could not get in touch with me." I NEVER received a since call or email from them! So, if you're an AHS member, and you receive this company as the company of contract ask for another company, because you will never get in contact with them! And if you're not an AHS member, look elsewhere for a more reputable company that will actually call you back!

The lady at the office was nice but the technician was very rude. He had no communication to what he did and left. I called to find out that they need a new mother board which will be there on Monday week after. Monday they said they cannot come as they did not promise. Bottom-line the furnace was not fixed and we have no heat for a month. He came back again and told us it is an electrical issue. Electrician came and told us that the technician had put the wiring wrong way which shot the system. We don't know how this works but stay away from this company as they don't know what they are doing. Hired another company who has better reviews. We pray that Rose heating can find a better technician who could be man enough to accept he made an error and is ready to fix it.

American Home Shield sent these guys, and these reviews got me nervous.
The guy showed up. An hour later my A/C was blowing cool air again. No complaints.
Reviews still make me nervous, but now I'm far more comfortable giving them another go for the next service.

I had a heating issue in December 19 2020 they came out and said it was a bad motor and they have to order it. it had taken them until February to fix after several calls to home warranty. Anthony came and fixed the motor and heat was blowing upstairs but not downstairs. I contacted the home warranty who said the dampers are not covered under the warranty so I paid them $475.00 to fix and replace the damper. Since they fixed the part the ac system keeps going out and tripping the ciruit breaker. I again called on home warranty and they send out a different company who looked at what going on. The technician said it's tripping because the work last technician did with damper keeps tripping the breaker. I called Rose and she said yeah they cameout several months ago and I was explaining to her that what Anthony came and did is not working she said he no longer works here.She said she has no record of it and I had the technician next to me who said this should be a warranty issue since it was 6 months ago while I was on speaker phone and she hung up.I tried calling again and she hung up again
This is the worst company and worst customer service ever.My next call is to the Better Business Bureau and consumer protection services
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.
