Ace Plumbing, Heating & Air

We had an issue with our AC unit and had Ace come out. We were given a quote of 1,200 to replace some parts with the outside unit. The repairman did look at the main unit inside and said it looked like the coils were dirty. He did nothing about it though. After the repairs he said it was fixed. He left and an hour later the system was still not pushing air out. We called back and had another associate come out. He again looked at the coils inside and said the other guy should have cleaned them and that was our issue for no air. Here is the kicker.

We were told it would take 6 to 8 hours to clean it and would be cheaper to replace the whole unit(we're talking thousands of dollars).
We just had another company come out and was shocked they didn't identify the coils as the issue. An hour later he had it cleaned(not 6 to 8 hours as quoted from Ace). The air is nice and cool and only cost 300 to clean.

We feel totally scammed. We called and talked to the manager who had no remorse and only offered to discount a new unit WHICH WE DIDN'T NEED. All they wanted was for us to fork over serious cash for a new unit.I would never refer this company to anyone.

Water heater went out other places were 3 days out and $1000 over the Ace estimate, they were also at my home replacing the water heater within 3 hours not days. Richard and his helper were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, the inspector was highly satisfied with the quality of work. Will definitely be using Ace for any future needs.

We had a main line block and all of our toilets and shower backed up. We needed immediate help. We contacted Jerry and he responded right away. His team member came over first thing and was able to quickly identify and fix the issue. He was also a very nice guy and did a great job explaining the issue and how he fixed it. A truly excellent experience!

I am terribly disappointed in the amount of money that I spent on having my kitchen faucet and 2 bathroom faucets repaired. All I needed was to have the cartridges replaced, due to a very slow drip with each of the faucets and not wanting to waste water. When I called to schedule the appointment, the receptionist advised that typically these types of parts are on the technicians vehicle when I inquired. I was quoted $89.50 for the 1st 15 minutes and then $39.50 for each 15 minutes thereafter plus parts. I was told that between the assessment and repair, it should take under an hour for the work. That said, I was expecting to pay under $300 total. Turns out, the technician did not in fact have the parts on his vehicle and said that he would need to run out to their shop to get them. He came back nearly an hour and a half later to complete the repair. I was shocked when he told me that my total was going to be $466.70. I inquired about the amount and he said that my time also included the transit time to pick up the parts. I was not made aware of that ahead of time. I called the office the next day to inquire and was told that that was the case and she looked up why it took so long. He had to go to 2 different locations because the 1st location did not have the parts. He ended up getting them at Home Depot which is literally 3 miles from my house. Had I known that I was going to pay this much money for a simple repair, I would have bought brand new fixtures and had them ready to install when the technician arrived. My fixtures are visually in good shape, so I had thought it would be wasteful to replace them. One of my bathroom faucets was still dripping after the repair, so the technician did come back out and fixed it. I feel like I was very much ripped off and will never work with this business again or recommend them.

My name is Michael. I called Ace on 12/2/20 at 3:15 p.m. I asked for a quote on a water heater. Ace gave me a two hour window as to when they would be at my house the next day to look at my water heater. Ace informed me they would be at my house on the next day to replace my water heater. On 12/4 Ace arrived at my house at 9:15 in the morning and replaced my water heater. Great service I highly recommend Ace to everyone. GREAT PROFESSIONALS.

We was having issues with our central air not working. We had two technicians come a few times to fix it, all unsuccessfully. Martin came by after hours (8:30pm) & saved the day. He was so thorough, and looked at every piece of equipment inside the machine, couldn’t find anything wrong with it. He then looked at the breaker box, took off the cover and barely touched the wire to the ac switch and it came off. He tightened up the wire to the breaker, and also checked and tightened every single wire in the box to make sure they were all secure. He then went inside the house and tested the vent to make sure the cool air coming out of the vent was at the correct temperature and flow. He crossed all the T’s & dotted all the I’s. We were blown away at his thoroughness and so completely grateful for his time & care & attention to detail where other technicians failed. Thank you Martin! Ace, you have a gem of an employee and we are customers for life.

Ace Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning is great!!! I called Sunday evening and Dennis answered the phone. I couldn't believe someone answered. I was set to leave a message but a real person answered. I explained my problem and he said he would be out in 15 minutes. I could not believe my ears!!! I asked him if I had to make an appointment for tomorrow and he said not if I wanted it taken care of tonight. I was happy he could come and still in shock when he pulled up at my house (we were outside cause it was hotter in my house than outside) and he went to work right away. He gave me a quote and he figured out the problem right away. I am sitting in my air conditioned house right now and we are more than happy with the service. Dennis is awesome and should get a pay increase for coming out in the evening on a Sunday. Thank you Dennis for saving us from an extra hot evening and hotter tommorow. Tami and Walter
