If I could give Galaxy a negative score, I would. I had an appt. last Jan. 2021. The repairman, Tim, gave my dishwasher a temporary fix, ordered a part that I need to complete the final repair, but then quit. No one at Galaxy followed up w/ me about the final repair, & it wasn’t until I called them throughout this past year that they finally came back to finish, almost 1 year to the day…That’s a long service call!!!!

Galaxy sent us updates by text when our repair person was on his way. He arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem accurately. They had to order a part, which took a week, but once it arrived we scheduled the fix and it went smoothly. We will use them again.

Repairman showed up on time and proceded to check the "work" done by the previous repair company (which can be found on YELP). He fixed my refrigerator and the incorrect installation by the previous repairman.
All in all, the best repair company and most reliable company in the East Bay!!!

My water dispenser in my Samsung refrigerator was flowing very slow, I had called different places but the others didn’t work with Samsung appliances. Once again in my google search I have found Galaxy HVAC & Appliance Repair, I called to make a appointment, picked a day to come inspect, tech came out to troubleshoot the refrigerator issue, told us they will order the part and we had to pay for it, made another appointment to install, came out to install unfortunately that was not the issue. I called again and they once again came out to trouble shoot and found the actual problem, since the part they changed was the wrong the new part and the labor was free of charge. I will definitely be using them again in the future

Horrible since the start. I'm surprised to see such great reviews because our experience with them from the start has been horrible. My home warranty contracted them, it took close to two weeks from the date I filed the claim to me having to call them and ask what the status was on them coming out. Then, we schedule a date, they come out, tell my husband they're are going to request to have the microwave replaced (due to popping with sparks and making loud noise), but, they tell my warranty company that the microwave just needs a part replaced - which is fine, but, don't tell the homeowner one thing then change your mind. A month goes by with no word from Galaxy for setting up the repairs, I again have to call to be provided with a repair date. Finally repairs are made. Microwave worked - great news - thank you! But, I noticed something off with the microwave, I just couldn't put my finger on it, than I finally realize a few weeks after the repair what is wrong, the panel on the side of the microwave is bent, not flush with the door. I call them on October 26th, explain the situation and the following day, the tech comes out, he attempts to fix the panel, unable to do so and tells my husband that he will order the part, call when it arrives to schedule a repair. Again a couple of weeks go by, my husband continuously calls the repair guy has to leave messages, with no response. Today is December 1st, I call to find out what the hold up is, only to be told, they are declining the repair because they did not cause the damage. All of our appliances in the house are brand new, installed by professionals, Galaxy is the first and only company to touch my microwave for repair and now are denying responsibility - now they say I have to start from scratch and put in another claim - conveniently after the the 30-day warranty is up and my home warranty company has paid them for services. All of this horrible ordeal began on August 16, 2020, repairs completed October 1st, warranty valid through 10/31/20, I call them 10/26/20 to advise them of the damage, they come out on 10/27/20 to examine, tell us they will be back to fix, 10/28 - 11/30/20 = NO RESPONSE, NO Contact from them, Messages not returned. 12/01/20 I call them, to be told they're not responsible. If they were truly not responsible, wouldn't they have called immediately to advise of their findings? Why would their tech take responsibility then go back to work and tell the owner it was already like that? I requested the so called before and after pictures they say they have in addition to the report of repairs they made (b/c I was told they only repaired a part and did not touch the panels, yet, they had to remove the microwave to repair and then re-install) - why didn't they show the so called already damaged panel to my husband prior to working on the microwave.
I do not recommend this company to any one for repairs. I wonder what has changed from the past (such good reviews) to the present. Beware!

Galaxy is my go to Appliance Repair company. They are efficient, extremely quick and they do excellent work. There is no "upsell", if they can fix it they do! I trust their recommendations, when we have an appliance that needs to be replaced.
