Sam came out to our home for an AC maintenance call and the service was fabulous. He was on time, friendly, and had extensive knowledge of our unit. We had never used Airmech before and was nervous simply because so many companies will upsell you on things you don’t need. Sam explained everything really well and made recommendations without pressuring us to spend more money. Wish all companies had service like this!

Very professional, worked fast, great job and very kind! Antonio was my service provider - the best I've ever had, and that's saying a lot for this 68 year old man who is picky.

From the very beginning i felt comfortable with the technician and although i didnt know it he found an issue with my system (we hadnt turned it on yet for the season). He fixed the issue right away and the price was much less than I was expecting. He did warn me of another issue that looks like it will need to be addressed in the future but he didnt push me to do it now and notated what the issue was so that when it dies break they will know exactly what the issue is will and will not have to come out again for a check. I would %100 recommend them!

The air from my home AC stopped before what was looking to be the hottest week of the year. After some searching I found Airmech and they did not disappoint. Scheduling over the phone was straightforward and simple. For the scheduled date, Antonio arrived to perform the diagnosis of the problem. He was very professional, courteous, and polite. During his analysis, he video recorded his findings. Afterwards, he clearly explained and showed me what he found to be the problem and then discussed recommendations for remedy. Parts were needed to be ordered and so a follow-up appointment was scheduled. Antonio returned with Chris and both were again professional, courteous, and polite. My duct was kinked and clogged and so they replaced it and they also did a cleaning of the blower. Then, for the moment of truth, they turned on the thermostat on and voilà the AC was working again and flowing cold air. These guys are great. They even took a few minutes to explain a few things on how my AC system worked that I never knew about.

It's not often you find reviews for service that has an average of 5 stars on both Google and Yelp but Airmech has this rating with hundreds of reviews. I will add to this with another 5 stars here. Thank you Airmech.

My AC started blowing hot air.... not so great with temps hovering around 100 deg. Airmech gave me a quick appt date. Lindsey added me to the cancelation list, and the appt improved by 4 hours!! Thank you!!
Sam arrived early and is very knowledgeable. Quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to repair the unit same visit. Whew!! Cold air again.

Well, now that it is winter, my old furnace unit was acting with a mind of its own.
Called AirMech today, lucky there was an opening same day service.
Sam arrived quickly and fixed our problem.

Working with Airmech was a pleasure and I would recommend them to family and friends. It seems like the company is a family company, which is great. Our HVAC system was really old and finally died during the 2022 heat wave. We ended up going with a variable condenser unit and a heat pump to take advantage of the SMUD rebate offer.

I spoke with Mary to set the appointment, and Mary was a delight to speak with. I met with Alex for an estimate. It’s my understanding that he has a technician’s background, which is a huge plus for me. He arrived timely and conducted himself professionally and courteously. He took a look at my old HVAC system and provided good-better-best recommendations for my needs. He sent me the quotes and then let me make a decision. No hard pitch, not pushing to sign the contract right then on the spot, didn’t take an hour of my time going through pamphlets; truly just provided the information, answered my questions, and then allowed me to follow up with my decision. It seemed like he knows he has the best product at the right price and let me make my own decision. I had some pretty novice questions that Alex fielded with ease and educated me along the way.

Install day, the electrician arrived on time bright and early. Airmech installation team arrived timely shortly after. Justin, Christopher, and Abdul were great, very friendly and a hard working group. Ali came by to lend a hand and check on the team. The team had the major install done in 1 day. They tidied up and vacuumed all of the insulation that was tracked out of the attic when they finished. Alex came back late in the day to do a check and the whole team worked together to get the system up and running.

They had to come back to replace one of my old decrepit ducts, and they came by about a week later. Justin and Abdul came back to do the duct install and secure the registers. They were in-and-out in half a day, and cleaned up any debris along the way.

Just a great group of people to work with, from start to finish. Can’t say enough positive things. Thankful to Airmech for their work; they’ve got us back to comfortable living conditions.

The technician was very courteous, on time and professional. Not pushy. I think the company trains their technicians well.

Alex the general manager contacted me about an issue we had with a recent service call and made it right and I truly appreciated his time and willingness to reach out to me to me personally. He was super understanding and willing to talk it through with me. This company does appreciate their customers and go the extra mile if something isn't quite right. That should be how every company handles customers.

Airmech saved us from a brutally hot summer. After they correctly diagnosed an issue with our HVAC unit that four other contractors were unable to diagnose, they counseled us on our options and we decided to buy a new Bosch heat-pump. They did not try to upsell us (we asked about a new installation as opposed to a repair), and they were clear and informative about what the heat-pump would do.

Unlike the other contractors I called, Airmech was responsive and quick. They understood we were without AC and they were able to install the new unit just two business days after we decided to buy it. They also installed a portable AC unit for us in the interim, and they took care of the permitting process and the SMUD rebate paperwork.

The heat pump installation went smoothly and the team was a pleasure to work with. Best of all, our house is cool, comfortable and energy-efficient -- way better than it was before our original AC unit stopped working. I love our heat pump so much -- our electricity bills are down and so is the temperature inside our house. And I know we will save even more this winter.
