Airmech Heating and Air Conditioning

First off, I was very surprised to be able to schedule a service so quickly. I had an appointment with a couple of days! It was super easy to make an appointment and a rep called me to confirm and to get more details pretty fast as well. Well, today the technician came out. His name was Freddy and he was great. I was given a 2hr window and he came at the beginning of it! He let me know of the cost before doing anything. He said if it was this it would cost this much or if it was this, it would cost this much. I let him know I was comfortable to pay for the compressor, if it was the issue and thank goodness that fixed my issue. I will definitely keep this company in my contacts....if anything else happens...cause my unit is pretty old. ☺️

Antonio came out to give us a second opinion on our heater, which we were told was showing damage. He was pleasant and professional. After confirming the damage, he didn’t try to sell us a new heater, but just outlined the repairs needed to fix the existing one. When I told him we were interested in replacing our gas heater, he gave me clear choices without pressure. When we’re ready to get a new unit, we will definitely call Airmech!

I contacted Airmech for a quote to replace my ac unit. They were quick in responding and setting up an appointment to come out to look at my existing unit. They were also great at helping me make an inform decision on my purchase. Within a week of contacting them, I had my system installed. The crew was wonderful and professional. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend them to anyone that is looking to replace their unit. Don't forget to ask them about the rebates, there are lots of good rebates out there right now to save you money.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the service Airmech provided and am very happy with my new system.

Antonio was our technician for our ac tune up service. He was very prompt and arrived as scheduled. He was very detailed in his work and explained in detail the various checks he was performing on our ac system. Would definitely recommend Amtech!!

Very pleased with Airmech company. Installers were on time and super hard workers! I had a complete new HVAC and duct replacement done. The old ducts were under my house and it was difficult to work under the crawl space with little space to work. No complaints from the workers at all and they kept doing the work.
I also liked that the owner actually came several times to the job site and made sure his employees were taken care of and if there were any issues to be addressed. I also like to help local businesses here in Elk Grove. I would recommend Airmech, especially if you live in Elk Grove.

My goodness! What an amazing experience!!! It was a simple fix! No hard sell for any upgrades, no bs about how desperately I need a new system. So respectful and considerate of my time, money and circumstance! I’ll never use anyone else!!! Bonney Plumbing SUCKS!!!!! These guys are amazing! I’m the biggest cynic out there and not easily impressed! These guys impressed me. Freddie was the best representation of this company, kudos for having him on staff!!

I wasn’t going to leave a poor review, but I’ve gotten three or four emails nagging me for a review, so here it is.

The tech was courteous and prompt. He rapidly diagnosed the problem, which was a bad motor on the condenser coil fan. He looked up the motor and said it was unavailable at two parts warehouses. He said it was no longer in production and it might be months before he could get one, and there might never be one available. The only options he left me with were to wait and hope with no a/c or to replace the entire a/c unit.

I took a photo of the motor nameplate. A five minute search on the internet for the motor model number revealed that the motor indeed was no longer in production, but had been superseded by another model that was readily available. I ordered it, had it in hand two days later and installed it myself. It took an hour or so. The motor was an exact fit. I didn’t even need to change any wiring. It was literally plug and play.

The service call was worth the $89 to diagnose the problem. I’m reasonably handy, so I easily replaced the motor myself and saved myself an hour of labor cost and the markup on the part. I don’t understand why the tech couldn’t find the correct replacement part when I was able to find it easily. I saved a few bucks doing it myself, but had to deal with a hot house for a couple of days longer than I should have.

Last year my HVAC system was about to fail. I called several companies for quotes on a replacement. I researched the systems that all the companies had to offer. I decided to use Airmech based on their reviews and the system that they recommended. The price of the system was considerably less than the other companies. The service that was provided was excellent! The installation was without any problems.

I recently scheduled a service/check up before the summer heat. The service technician was on time and performed his work in a professional manner. He answered all my questions and explained everything he was doing. I highly recommend Airmech for your HVAC needs.

We had excellent service with Airmech! Our heater went out during the coldest week this year and they quickly sent a service person out to take a look. He took photos and had a reasonable estimate, but our unit was very old and we asked if they could send someone out for an estimate for a replacement. We decided to go for it, but did not feel pressured at all and they were able to install it the next day. The installers were professional and so fast. Our new system works great and every person working at Airmech was really great. I would highly recommend them!
